Ever Rebuilt a Turbo? How much for used K03s?

I have the opportunity to purchase a used K03s(058 145 703 J). The deal is that they don't have any info on how many miles were on the unit. They say they are selling it as a "rebuildable core" so I would need to rebuild it (if someone could point me towards a rebuild kit) or have it rebuilt(where is a good/inexpensive place). They also say that it spins freely and don't have any shaft play so maybe I wouldn't have to rebuild it.

How much would this turbo be worth? Is it worth my time to deal with having it rebuilt?

    Thanks

gpopshop is good, id check them out and see how much is would be to get it rebuilt (i think they can even get it up close to k04 spec). the actual turbo though, i dont think id spend more then 200 bucks, heck 150, but thats just me.

Gpop wants $350 for a rebuild or $99 for just the rebuild kit.
