so I finally got to drive my car after the gtrs install, well not shortly after getting on an interstate does my car start to overheat and flash coolant signs at me.

So I pull over asap, pop the hood, get my flashlight and start looking.

    1. Coolant reservoir is in it's happy place between min and max.

    2. None of the coolant appears to be leaking out of the block or turbo.

    3. It was making gurgling sounds near the coolant line in front of the engine block.

And yes, I took the ecu out, and cranked for 10 seconds at a time for ~20 times

    any ideas?

^^either ur waterpump just gave out, or ur temp sendor or coolant flange took a dump. i believe the waterpump is the culprit, same happened to me.

    Re: COOLANT

almost immediately after going to bed i realized theres a lot of pressure from the fmic piping on the coolant line just before the radiator. Is it possible to pinch this line between the piping and bumper? It's really tight.

Could explain why it overheats, then cools down and warnings go away, then come back?
