    i have my new clutch and 12 lb flywheel for my 03 1.8tq.. next weekend is when it is getting put in. any tips or tricks or hints to make it go smoother?? anything i should look for?? anything i could possibly get stuck on?? i kno that just about everyone here has done their own clutch so you have more experience doing it than i do.. i will have the car up on a lift. tia!!

    make sure you line up the engine & trans correctly. Don't just slam it in because it will do alot of damage take your time...

    ok thanx. i did a neon trans bout 6 yrs ago and it didnt come w/ an allignment tool and we just lightly snugged the pressure plate bolts and ligned it up with the pilot using a piece of pvc pipe.. the kit i just got didnt come w/ an allignment tool so i imagine i will be doing it the same way. also where can i get new flywheel bolts???

    I align discs without a tool all the time. Most discs and PP's are the same diameter or close to it. Lightly snug the bolts and adjust the disc to be equal all the way around, then tighten it up.
