The stock sub is located on the rear deck lid.
The stock amp is on the side panel in the trunk, its behind the passenger side vent

    Re: Noob ?...Stock Amp Location?

ya gotta pull the carpet side out
    which means false floor,
remove some of the weather striping,
to take out the plastic piece along the bumper,
    floor anchors,
and the back rest of the passenger seat (unless your carpet is very flexible),
then some pulling and swearing and it out so you can star the actual project.

    think thats all

    Re: Noob ?...Stock Amp Location?

Here's a quick pic of the stock bose amp in the rear passenger side wheel well:

    ...pretty much what Pothole said.
I have the rear seat bottom removed as well, but no need to do that.
I'd def take out the rear seat back to get the carpet/trunk side out. There's one torx screw holding the seat backs in place (where they both come together/hinge).

    Re: Noob ?...Stock Amp Location?

I actually did this a couple weeks ago but didn't have to remove the seat back. All I did was put both seat backs down and then pop the top of the rear deck lid upwards. The carpeting closer to the front of the car slides out from its position and then you just work your way around the top towards the back of the car pulling it down. IIRC there is one pop clip(not sure what to call it) that pops right out, towards the top of the carpeting and pretty much in between the front and back of the trunk. You may want to remove the cargo hitch(2 torx screws) as well. Otherwise there should be more than enough space to slide your arm in to get access to the 3 screws holding it in.
