This is B5 audi a4 quattro
So about a month ago i got my k04 installed, i was so excited to get
the car on the road. Sop i picked it up from the shop and started driving. I was on my way to maryland from NY... When i noticed that my a/c was overheating (mind you im 30 min away already) so i pulled over and popped the hood. I look for anything suspicious and wat do i see my turbo GLOWING a bright red. I had to get the car towed back to the shop (125$) and have them fix it. They forgot to FLUSH the coolant. My turbo to this day is pink, well to be more specific its the housing thats pink. So i got it all straightend out and when i put it to the ropad i really didnt feel a big diffrence in the power, i wasnt impressed. So i went for a chip, i got a GIAC low boost file chip, and it felt ****in great *for a week. (now i run a unitronic 1+, as of waterfest)
Then i started notcinbg that my car was sputerring, it was sounding like a huge vacumm when i hit on the gas and it was pulling like ****. So i started checkin all hoses to the intake and to the turbo. To my suprise i TORE through the turbo inlet hose. Tore an elbo comming of of the intake. So i got them replaced. Another week goes by tore it again*inlet hose, So i learned i put an APR slicone hose there yesterday. While installing the hose i also intalled my turbo smart MBC. I turned the MBC like two turns, and took it out for a test run with my new hose and my new mbc. NOTHING i didnt feel any sppol of my turbo, i didnt feel the chip kick at like 2800rpms, i felt like a dog. Iattached my MBC to the wastegate and the actual turbo, and just kept the n75 connected electroniclly.
My questions for you guys are:
1. Did i install my mbc right??
2.Is my turbo fried, shoud i get a new one?
3.Wat would stop me froming blowing all these hoses? AND
4.How do i install my boost gauge on my car??
