Length would have to be about 100" and width would need to be aleast 45"

Is a single sheet this size possible? I wouldnt peice it together. If you think you can do this Ill have help later and try and measure it more accurately.

I will definitely check into that for you and see what I can come up with. It may not be 45" wide though. I have 1 roll of matte vinyl sitting here that is around 1/2 that wide, but like I said, I'm sure it comes in varying widths. I'll report back findings.

So I measured my B5 sedan roof and I've come up with this. You can probably get away with 42" width, but 45" would be better. It would leave a little room for error in my measurements and in installation, which is the same as CZA420tAvant's findings. However, the length would only need to be 60". Hopefully this will help some.

Ok, I have some news. The roll is 48" wide, so that should be plenty wide enough for your roofs and anything else you want to do on the car with enough left over to do little things, like blacking out window trim on S cars.

The price on it is $10/foot and you can order any number of feet that you'd like, we should be able to accomodate any order for it.

It shouldn't be too hard to do. The important thing is taking your time and not rushing through it.

It's not too hard but it can be tedious. The best way is to get a spray bottle with some water and some really mild soap, almost like it's all water. Spray the roof or whatever part of the car you're applying vinyl too and spray the sticky part of the vinyl. Lay it down and squeegee out the water.

I'm going to be measuring my roof tonight for those that need it.

If you are thinking of purchasing vinyl and doing this yourself, be sure to use "cast" vinyl, not calandered vinyl, to aid in conformability and reduce vinyl shrinkage.

The A3 is done in Gloss black.

Roofs generally are okay as they tend to not be as damaged. as for hoods, be aware that any defect in the hood ( chips etc... ) WILL show through. You are talking about a 2 mil film, as opposed the something like stone guard which is more like 13mil.
