FMIC Install Question - Stock Hose?

alright, i pulled the bumper and started to fit some things last week. I have a generic kit from ebay and am trying to figure out the best way to route from the turbo to the the FMIC.

Should i reuse the original hose from the turbo to the bar that cross the front of the car? If i do that i will need to find a "whatever the stock size is" to a 2.5" then to the FMIC.

if i replace the hose with the tubing from the kit then i'll need to get a T with a 1" coming off the side to connect the DV to.

    what did you guys do?

Re: FMIC Install Question - Stock Hose?

The kits I have seen all do the There is usually a elbow or connector (silicone) of some sort from the turbo to a pipe diamater of your choice right out of the turbo, on that pipe about mid way down on its way to the next connection they weld in a 1" tip to hook the dv hose to. After that it is the usual elbows and clamps and pipes until the intercooler. Once you cross the intercooler and get to the driver's side you will now need to make the tubing go towards the intake (trottle body), before this however you will need to add a spot in the piping going to the intake for the sensor that is in your stock mintercooler now.

I recomend you use T bolt clamps on all the connections and make sure all the welds are air tight, any air leaks will affect your boos and the performance of the car and will be an all around PITA.

    Good luck, hope it helps.
