    APR1+ with stock SMIC and meth?

    Is it possible to add another nozzle just before it to help cool it down?

    I wouldn't, the water will just pool up inside of it. You could put one in frt. of the IC.

    You should be able to run the 100 oct. file on a good WW fluid. Just run logs to make sure you're not pulling to many CF's.

    APR 100oct file won't happen, especially with the stock SMIC. You should be able to add around 3 degrees of timing though with Lemmi to the 93 program. As Chris said, NEVER put a meth nozzle BEFORE the IC core, it will just pool up inside

    APR K04 + FMIC + TP + 275cc W/M single nozzle (on Snow stage 2 - MAP controller) I ran 5 degrees of added timing with Lemmiwinks. 100 octane file adds approx 7 degrees of timing at peak over the 93 file. FWIW and IMO, 5 degree graph shift > 7 degree peak. CF's on the 100 file on 93/meth were 8-10 (just under audible detonation). CF's on 93 + 5 degrees were 4-5

    Awesome information. That's about what I have planned for mine. Injectors should be here next week, I'm shopping around for a K04, have a used Neuspeed FMIC downstairs awaiting installation, and a Devils Own dual nozzle meth kit in a box in the living room. Test pipe will likely be done when I do the K04, but I'll install the intercooler and meth kit after I get the injectors and 1+ flash (APR).

    Edit: How did you like the power on that setup? Anything you would do differently? Did you ever dyno it?

    Glad I could help. I never ran the meth with 1+ but I would imagine it is very similar to the K04 file regarding timing and CF's. When adding timing with Lemmi, please add timing 1 degree at a time and log after each change. Make sure you also do it on a hot day (the hottest you get) or don't max the settings out. If you set your CF's to a max (5-6) on a 80 degree day, on a 95 degree day your CF's will be damn close to if not at the detonation point. The key with meth and adding timing with Lemmi is to log, log, log. I can't stress it enough! Also keep in mind Lemmi tweaks do adapt out overtime and particularly if your voltage drops (from the car sitting for an extended period of time) so be sure to check your Lemmi settings about once a month to be sure they are still present, never hurts to log once a month as well to make sure everything is still in check and CF's/timing are as you left them.

    For those that don't know and new to the meth/lemmi tweaks, I would aim for daily 5-6 CF's MAX! This allows a little bit of room for the car to run differently day to day and not cause any problems. CF's > 10 = detonation with 11-12's usually being audible detonation

    I definitely recommend an ATP/034 manifold with a K04. It will remove the annoying torque spike the K04 has and makes the power/tq much more usable. It also lengthens the powerband by about 500rpm.

    APR K04, 93/meth, 275cc nozzle, FMIC, TP, Exhaust, Carbonio V2, APR TIP, 90 degrees on the dyno 210whp/267wtq

    Same setup, same temps, just adding the ATP mani, 218whp/274wtq and about 10-15% more area under the curve

    While on the subject of logging, is there any good resource on logging? Maybe a guide that makes it simple for those who wouldn't really have a great idea what to log/what to look for?

    Thanks for all the good info.

    Im just starting to learn about the a4. Just lookin for a reliable daily driver for school. My previous car was a DSM that i had built up from stock. Best run was 12.2. It got stolen and stripped... Insurance company wrote it off.

    Mod plans: (in order, suggestions welcome)
    -VAG-COM
    -Boost gauge
    -DV
    -Test pipe
    -Intake (for sound purposes. I know....)
    -Snow Performance Stage 2
    -Injectors (where can i find a good deal on a new set?)
    -APR 1+/93 (For refrence i run no less the 94oct)

    What else would i need? Tuning?

    Im not lookin to go to crazy just a little extra pep

    Ok, thats what i figured. Im used to logging timing on a palm then adding/subtracting fuel using a air fuel controller.

    Id love to throw an exhaust on, but im trying to keep it on a budget.

    Water/methanol injection can easily allow advanced timing and increased boost using only the stock SMIC, beyond the timing and boost settings possible with a large FMIC without W/M injection.

    You need either a vagcom cable or one of the USB/serial cheapies inorder to use Lemmiwinks

    When i order my 1+ chip from APR should i get the 93oct and 100oct files?
    Or should i just stick with the 93oct file and mess around with the timing and fuel through Lemmi?
