    Cool 2004 A4 3.0Q Adding Parktronic

    Hi there,

Well first off just wanted to say hi as I am new to this forum as I just purchased a 2004 Audi .

I basically have a great car, but since my g/f needs to drive my car I wanted to add a front and rear parktronic to it to avoid some unnecessary trips to the body shop from parking :)

So the question is, is there something I can do to add this option and keep it as OEM looking as possible? Has anyone on here added this before?

If you can help me out on this I would really appreciate it :-)

    Thank you,

    James

^^i'm guessing ur a former benz owner! anyways ebay has tons of kits that look pretty cool actually, but doing it all oem would be expensive, due to the wiring and mounting and painting and so on!

Hey, not a former Benz owner. VW Jetta actually. :-)

The reason I asked about OEM was because I know the R4 had the Parktronic as an option so I was thinking that perhaps some of the required electronics were already in the car. And that the sensors/control module were the missing pieces.

Thanks for the info about ebay, just hoping to get something that would integrate into the car stereo this way I do not have to mount those ugly displays from the ebay ones.

    :-)

Maybe the money would be better spent on some parking courses.
