What are the chances off a company making a look alike pair of s5 headlights for the B5 A4??? That would be soooooooooooooo sexy!!! I am in love with that LED bar on the bottom of the new S5 head lights

A guy on AW made a pair. Roger@CapitalAudi is his name. He put in two projectors and a set of LED's in each lamp. Look him up and you will see what I am talking about.

I'm personally not a fan of any of the LED lights on Audis (s5, r8 etc..) and it seems more and more that I'm all alone on this one. They scream "ATTENTION WHORE" to me, just way too flashy. I put them in the same category as chrome on cars.. which I don't like just as much.

I'll be working on a B5 set-up, as soon as I've got a set of extra OEM one-piece headlamps.

I won't attempt it on my OEM RS4 units, in case it all goes horribly wrong.

looks great on the current generations that come with them from the factory. Have yet to see one that doesn't look horrible on older cars. The lines just don't flow with it.

Not too bad but it feels like there is a party going on in those headlights. They wouldnt be half that bad if they were toned down a bit.

Those things are expensive. 282 Euro = $440 USD. Imagine how much it would cost to ship it over here too.

Exactly. I wouldn't run those if I was sponsored to. Unless they sponsored me w/ a 2.0BAT too.

dood dont run those nasty lookin lights, The only way you can get a good look with the LEDs is if its OEM on the B8, the TT, or R8, The DIY doesnt even look to hott, no offence but Stock looks sooo clean

those ebay ones are ok. not bad but would look much better with it running all the way across. it doesn't flow well. would have to see them in person to really judge. if i were to do the led's i'd put some on the bumper.

YES- i've toyed with every other LEDs Oznium have, and the 4chips are about the closest i can get to the LEDs similar to the R8 and B8 A4 and New TT-S. These 4chip Oznium LEDs are very bright, that I do use them "as" DRLs...
The local audi dealer i go to liked them and parked next to a B8 A4 w/ LEDs- they were fairly much the same brightness (of course OEM has better housing/reflectors)...
Some may not like my project, but i tried to keep it as clean and simple


Here's a photo (sorry out of focus-) but to show that the brightness and color output matches the HID (6000k). None of that non-sense 'blue leds' that are sold at pep-boys...
