Carbon Copy Designs 'B' trim set sale

We have a few more of 'B' quality sets of trim available in black carbon fiber. These sets either have a small visual imperfection or something slightly wrong with the setting of the weave in a piece. We know it is there so it doesn't meet or pretty strict QC standards.

Definitions are as follows:

"A" set is excellent weave and surface.
"B" set is very good weave and surface. 1-3 pieces of the set may have a few imperfections that can be found by examining the piece close up, but not obvious when installed.
"C" set has visible imperfections that can be seen while sitting in the car.

I do not have any pictures of the imperfections as these 'B' sets sell quickly. If you need references I can forward you to some users that purchased from our last 'B' set sale and you can ask them for their impressions.

There are no 'C' sets available for purchase. The grade was included for the possibility of such an imperfection.

B6/B7 tiptronic trim set

B5 complete trim set - we will make the shifter surround to match yours

C5A6 complete trim set

Any set is $550 shipped to you.

An additional $400 core exchange fee will be in effect unless you send us your trim in first.

The cost of the trim is $550.

If you don't send your trim in to us first we charge a $400 core exchange fee. You get this back when you send in your old trim.

If you don't send back your old trim then we use the core exchange fee to buy a new set of cores to use.

I believe we have a red set available. Most people want black and that is why i only posted them up for sale.

There is white but it doesn't look very good at all.

We do have Texalium which is 'silver' CF

We ship abroad. We have made a few sets for people in Europe. The right hand drive sets were cool.

If you put down a core fee or if you are sending in your trim we can ship out within 48 hours of receipt.

Difficulty? On a scale of 1 (easy) to 10 (get a professional)

For a B5 it would be a 7 since you have to pop the door off to install the trim

For a B6/B7 it would be a 4 as getting the center dash piece off is the only difficult step.

how hard is it to get the trim out of the car?

If you have a B6/B7 it is not that hard at all. Takes about 30 minutes.

If you have a B5 it is much harder as you have to take the door panels apart to take the trim off.

why is it so expensive?

We don't try to compete with the other people that make CF trim that sells for less. We know the level of quality we have and the materials we use.

As with anything there will always be a cheaper product out there.

I just took a look at it and we do not have any pics of that trim in a beige interior.
