2000 2.8 Pedals really close and small

I Have been driving the car for over a year now and I have really gotten used to it but it seems like when I am driving I am not in a very natural position with my legs. The pedals seem way too close together. They are also pretty small, the clutch seems liek the right size but the gas and brake i could push both with one foot very easily.

Make a custom bent clutch pedal so it's over to the left and get new pedals to make the others bigger. I wish the steering wheel went up more or the seat down more, I'm 6'5 so there probably aren't many people with this wish.

is there any aftermarket pedals for our car that kind of help with this. I try to brake and push on the gas at the same time often like when i am downshifting but it is a pain in the ass with our cars.

this is the oddest complaint i've heard about this car lol. I'd worry more about shit like abs cm, icm, control arms, cf joints, and other stuff going out than my pedals being too close together.

seriously though, most aftermarket pedals will make what you are experiencing even worse. I'd like to hear what you think after driving a lotus...

i can almost fit my foot between the pedals...maybe its because im 5'5" but i cant get the seat high enough for the sun visor to acutally do anything

aftermarket pedals make a big difference. i bought ones off ebay for a penny and they are awesome!

you think these pedals are small and close? how many other cars have you owned/driven? i had a 2001 neon r/t before this and the pedals were what i believed to be average in terms of size/closeness.... the audi gas/brake pedals are so far apart it took me months to re-learn to heel/toe coming from my last car

heel/toe is so 1950's... throttle modulation isn't nearly as precise or easy as using the outsides of your right foot (and rolling the right foot off to the gas when shifting) this gives you an idea of what i'm talking about -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qxZA2hasrs

Its hard to heal/toe cause gas pedal is so much lower than the brake. I can only pull it off when I'm doing really hard braking. I've never though the pedals where to close.

hmm I have a 2000 2.8 I thought it was fine and I wear a size 11 shoe, however man rear leg room for the passengers in the rear is almost nothing.
