Not that many people care, but the rumors about SSAC not being able to sell in the US anymore is not true. Emails from SSAC, sorry for the people that don't like SSAC, but i am broke, oh well

Yes that part is true...there is a company saying that we copied from them, although it is our own design, so we had to stop them from listing on Ebay that all. Ebay doesn't give a crap about sellers rights, any random company can come in and say its their design and the only way to get ebay to listen is to take the other party to court...and who can afford that. So you just wont see XS-Power Audi exhaust on ebay any longer, but we will most definitely sell the via our website once we have them again.

WOW! It looks like I missed all the fun in this thread (and several others too).

Well, let me just say for the record that I've had the SSAC and Piiggy combo on my S4 Tip since last year and I am having absolutley NO PROBLEMS!

For $250 it was the best deal I've got for my S4 without having to spend crap loads more. All I can say is for all the folks that told me about crap welds, this that and the other thing, those of us that purchased these SSAC set-ups are all still laughing all the way to the bank.

If you can get you hands on a set-up BUY-IT... you will not be disappointed.

I have just placed my order, and ill more than likely be the first S4 in Australia with this exhaust... there was no way i was spending 1k to get custom, or 3-5k for brand name...
just over $550AUD is worth it for me!

I was told more exhaust would be in around the 14th of this month, and I received an email saying they had 10 units, and all 10 were sold in a day.. Haven't heard when back yet when any more are coming in.

So how much flex is in this exhaust? Does it flex at all? I saw one guy say that he added Flex joints, is the flex not needed, maybe that is why not many people are talking about adding flex joints?

Not much flex at all. I did lots of "heat and bend" to get most of what i needed for great fitment.

Dude, this is really not that complicated. I have had the SSAutochome exhaust and piggies on my S4 going on 2 years now and I have no problems. - It's fine
- It's less that $500
- It's OK
- Its got no issues
- It's doing what it is expected to do
- It's....

If you need to to dig in that deep then don't buy it and go with one of the $2000 systems.

Whatever dude...I am planning on buying the exhaust, I just needed to know if I should install flex joints to give some flex as to not put extra stress on the turbos and exhaust manifolds which could lead to cracking and failure. I am coming from a 300zx and this was a concern so a lot of people installed flex joints to the testpipes to prevent extra unneeded stress on the turbos and manifolds; granted it was mostly with aftermarket exhaust manifolds but it is never good to assume that ones cars stock manifolds are as good as another's.

It really isn't that hard. I don't think once in any of my posts did I ever doubt the integrity of the exhaust. I am not a 16 year old kid that just bought the car and asks random questions without searching, the answer I was looking for was not answered, I asked it in the proper location, therefore I feel I deserve a respectable answer.

BTW: Thank you for your help the first time I posted, I was a little vague in my original post so even though I did not get the answer I wanted, I thank you for trying to answer what you thought I wanted to know.

You are on a public forum...people ask questions about products available to the public. If you get sick of people inquiring about products offered for a car they own, maybe you are not in the right place? I have looked...and searched, I did not find any info on stress on the manifolds and turbos from the exhaust. I am sorry. I saw one picture of a guy that installed flex joints but found no text as to why or if it is needed. So...I still don't know the answer, yet I catch heat for asking in the proper thread. I am assuming that flex joints are not needed and there have been no incidents directly related to non-flexing exhausts.
