Hi,

I lowered the car with the airmatic lowering link as I saw a lot of people here use that link.

When the car is lowered by 5mm lower than the original one(based on link height), the error code doesn't appear but it doesn't have the slammed look that I'd like.

When I shorten it more than 5mm, error code appears when I drive on the freeway (above 80km/h).

What can I do to lower the car as much as I want without the error code? Can someone help? :)

Thank you!

You have the links adjusted too short, the car is too low and that's why you're getting the fault code. If that "slammed look" is what you're after, you'll need to "air it out." I don't believe the links will get it done.

^ this. Too low. It states right in the instructions “do not lower/shorten more than 9mm”. You shortened them 10mm

Best way to do it is lower 5-7mm MAX, then use VCDS to fine tune lowering it

He's not saying he went 10mm, he say that when he go lower than 5mm he's getting the fault.

I wonder if someone adjusted your settings in VCDS/OBD11 before you and you are now working through that as well
