Hi, I'm going to look at a 110k+ mile S4 and would like to have an idea what the above maintenance would roughly cost, so I can use that in my negotiations.

It’s a stock, loaded DSG 2013 S4. They’re asking $19.5 but I’m gonna try to talk them down.

I just spent 3500 on all of that plus crossover coolant pipe, coolant pipe next to pcv valve, valve cover gaskets, oil filter housing gasket, spark plugs, both belts, accessory pulley, oil flush, oil change, and air duct behind the bumper cover on the drivers side (fell apart removing bumper to get into service position). This cost was for parts and labor. My pcv valve failed and mixed coolant into the oil.

it cost me $1100 in 2021 for all that stuff you listed.
That car isnt worth more than $10k.
fk the pcv maintenance repairs lol, you've got other stuff to worry about.
its an automatic, so you've now gotta worry about dsg services.
its still probably on oem cats.
original suspension components (youll probably be ok here)
lets talk about modding it because im sure you will.
your gonna need to decide what to do about injectors, replace (almost $1k) or send them to get cleaned; maybe $300? (id never do this with this car, but folks have. consider what exactly you are looking out of the car)
lets add all that pcv stuff you listed...
btw, did i mention its an automatic. they do NOT command value like a 6mt would. not.... even... close...
go ahead and start looking for something else.

Labor prices vary widely based on shop. I was quoted from $1000-2500 for just labor for tstat, PCV with the necessary hoses and gaskets.
DSG full service prob cost close to $1000 last month. VW oil is expensive

Agree w above. I wouldn’t pay more than $15k out the door on that car preferably with some service records. If DSG not maintained could be a disaster.
FWIW my car at 145k and I’m being offered $10k right now… before anyone knows I have a SAI light on.

19.5K is too much. Even I wouldn't expect to get 19.5k for my car with almost 88K miles. There's a shop my friend is taking his VW GTI in for carbon cleaning in the Huntington Beach area, apparently they charge $400 flat rate for it, so maybe an S4 isn't far off. I'd say all in would be at least $1500 for parts and labor for SoCal nowadays, assuming you get the flat rate charge for carbon cleaning, then the parts are all right there and you don't get charged excess labor rates. The injectors would need cleaning for sure.
But I'd look elsewhere because that's a high price for that car, for $19.5, might as well get a B9 with a downpayment.

It seems in my area you’re not touching a b8.5 with decent mileage and condition for less than 19k. I paid 20k from a dealer with 80k had fresh service new tires pads and rotors coolant pipes. That was the best deal I coul find. B9s are over 30 unless they have 100k.

I sold my 2014 with 82K miles to a wholesaler last August for $16,900. The price with that > 100K mileage is way too high and the service you are looking for is around $2000. I would look for a B9, as the B8.5 if not well maintained, is a money pit. I maintained mine meticulously and even did a lot of preventative and it still needed constant upkeep every 3 or 4 months. Don't buy it. I would never buy a German car with over 100K miles unless I was a German car mechanic. Look for something with 25K miles or less

Just got an estimate on this job with all the suggested items from the shop. All extra items were optional but they strongly suggested it all be done. 2013 S4 118K
