Has anyone with DRC personally installed the KW HAS? Did you find a trick to getting the rear springs out? I expected the tension to relieve when I unbolted the upper strut mount. I'm thinking spring compressor now?

Similar question with the Eurocode sways: The rear bolts I have from my previous airbaged car hit a fluid line near the strut. There weren't lines to hit on the other car so I'm sorting options. I think it's just a different hardware stack up and I'll chat with Eurocode but thought I'd ask here.

thx

Well, I reached out to Eurocode and got anunhelpful reply boarding on "We've never seen this before", so I'm bumping this in the event someone else has run into this. I"ve asked them to confirm if they have every installed their rear bar in the stiff setting on a DRC equipped car.

Can anyone confirm that they have done this?
Pic attached shows the supplied Eurocode parts with the bolt head hitting the hydraulic line of my DRC dampers.

I have air suspension, but here are some pics I just took this weekend. Maybe it'll help.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180313/555767dce52344d6e3eaa81d2121d0fa.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180313/6391b305383c020a746d9ff710bacd1d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180313/29ebbb0fcac6b10f4eff5c5a0ce2664c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180313/89c58ab44c4c0c3d1179fceb7cf3f006.jpg

Thanks. I actually think that does help. When I look at your 2nd and 4th pictures I don't see the hydraulic lines that my bolt heads hit... I'm assuming, but don't know for sure, that these lines on my car are the ones that link the cross corners of the DRC setup.

Chris over at Eurocode responded to me again. I may have misunderstood his first message to me, but he has been helpful in letting me know they have not seen a DRC car at their facility nor have they been previously notified of this issue. I'm going to have a few custom spacers made to see if I can correct the issue and will report back in several weeks.

Side thought for other DRC owners who come across this: The DRC by design is supposed to help reduce body roll. This message is consistent with other DRC owners who have reported less benefit from chassis stiffening products. It may be that we don't need the stiffer setting on the back of the car to achieve the same balance targeted for the air-bagged cars.
