So this has prob been asked but the threads I dug up was all old info and there may have been tune updates and such since then. So anyway last night I installed autotech internals into a new latest rivision pump along with a uro tuning stud kit. I want to get the most I can out of my car safley and was wanting to know who has the best hpfp file as of right now today. Experiance with the tune is a must in my book lol, no my buddy's car flys it must be the best.... I am a Apr customer as of now but feel the 2+ tune may be to tame so I may consider switching it up. But will try out Apr first to be fair as it will be the cheapest for now ( need motor mounts and jhm intercooler)😅 thanks in advance any insight is helpful as it's been a bit since I have had anything to compare to. And I get a bouncing idle from time to time? Tune related I think? I have changed about anything that would cause that....

This has been beaten to death in the last 5 months, literally 10 threads.
I run the JHM stage 2, 93 octane tune and it rips. I was one of the first and have had the beta since December. The JHM stage 1 tune pulled the APR stage 2 by a car length in real world testing.
The tune I have is the best investment I've made in my B7. Seriously, I'm thoroughly happy with it. Add in all my supporting mods, and the fact that my stage 3, BT upgrade now costs me a little less, I wouldn't switch, ever.
I'm not the only one to support the JHM tune. And it's nothing against the APR tune. JHM just squeezes so much more out of our platform.

I think if you check here

You will find the answer you are looking for regarding performance.
Regarding "safe" - not too many reports of people wrecking their motor with a tune.

Thanks to all for the info. I am stage 1 now with about all but an intercooler. So in the meantime I know I won't get the full effect so to speak but will I notice much difference power wise in the summer heat.. 80-90F think I may get flashed tomorrow... I was in stop and go on the highway the other day and by the time I could get moving again I had horrible heat soak. It about felt stock again . until after a few miles at 80mph when it tamed out a bit..I think water meth and jhm intercooler is in my near future. Does Apr even tune for water meth by request? I know others do? Anyone know if they have a tune for it.. Thank you in advance.

LOL that's awesome maybe that's why everyone suggests JHM. Before I even looked at eithers website I had already chosen JHM just from the pure amount of support for it, and the number of people I read that said they were transferring from whatever company they had, over to JHM. If its worth it for those people to spend another 600$ to transfer over then it must be the top of the line! I know thats whom I'm getting my bits and bobs from
