Well I bought a X-brace second hand and well I forgot about the stretch bolt. Sure these 6 bolts are only 20usd$, but once you factor shipping to cnd + currency and taxes, well it's 50-60$ for 6 little bolts lol... So, does the dealer carry these in stock most of the time ? orrrr i bet a few of us re-used the oem simply ?

Yeah, that bolt is pretty standard and all service shops will have them on hand.

I just replace them every other tranny fluid change (60k)

Yeah, shops have them on hand as they need to replace them every time they remove something. Most chassis bolts are stretch bolts as far as I know. Reusing stretch bolts will cause them to stretch further, which increases the risk of breakage and they will also not hold the same torque as before. Probably ok if all you do is commute to work and get your groceries, but then you also don't need the x-brace. So, assuming you plan on driving the car harder than the average commuter, I would use fresh bolts.

Absolutely use NEW stretch bolts. Do not reuse the ones taken out. Dealerships should have them readily available.
