Stinks to high heaven ..

have sprayed Lysol in the air intake and had limited success. Anyone use any product they are happy with .?

Also anyone happen to know where the AC drain port is under the car so I can make sure it is clean and not obstructed ?

Thanks as always .

I usually use lysol myself and it does the trick... don't know too much about A/C systems but hopefully Phil chimes in... also, ironic user name eh? lol

I used this about 2 years ago and it did the trick. The smell is starting to come back though, so it may be time for another can.

Have you changed you cabin filter recently? My a/c smelled bad and I changed mine and smell went away. Filter was all soggy and moldy from previous owner apparently never changing it.

Ozium... crank hi heat with the windows up and spray through where the cabin filter is in the engine bay. You can do either windshield or vent setting. I did vent and used like a half can, then turn on the recirculation setting and let it recycle the Ozium through the system for 15 minutes. Repeat if necessary but Ozium usually does the trick.

As stated above there's a cabin filter that should be changed every once in a while. Passengers side right below the windshield. You'll have to pull up the cover to get to it.

Thanks guys for the input. I'm thinking I have bacterial growth in the evaporator. Not sure if highh heat would solve that but il certainly give it a go as the Lysol just can't seem to get the job done.
I replace my cabin filter whenever I replace my air filter on all my cars so no issue there.

Back at it gents 👍

Try the Ozium... spray a LOT of it with the system running/windows up (high heat as mentioned). Get away from the car. FAR FAAAAAR away and give it about 15-20 minutes.

If that doesn't work, start looking for a carcass.

Its just IPA. You can get that stuff a lot cheaper. I would just change the filter to a carbon one. Will do the same thing ultimately.
