View Full Version : Enlaes Delays - Does The Company Even Exist?

So I ordered the Enlaes spoiler and diffuser over a month and a half ago from ECS Tuning. I received the diffuser and there were manufacturing defects so I sent it back. It's now been a month since I've sent it back and don't really have any idea when I'll be getting it. ECS said they "have a note that Enlaes said they shipped it but they don't have any tracking on it". Every week the part shows that it's arriving and then shipping to me but it doesn't and the cycle repeats. Now the spoiler did ship and I should have it when I get home. I even tried calling Enlaes about 10 times and they never answer and I sent them a message through their contact form on the website and never got a reply. I do want the diffuser but this is just getting ridiculous now. I'd rather at least just have them come out and say "sorry.....I know there are delays but you'll have it in xyz time". It's as if they don't even exist at this point. Has anyone else had this happen or had horrible communication with them?

On the other hand, ECS Tuning has been great and has tried to answer my questions on this.

Just to update.....My spoiler did come yesterday and I did a test fit this morning. I'm honestly not that impressed. Again there are a few (small) imperfections in the carbon weave and a few rough edges and white spots along the edges of the clearcoat. I'm trying hard to want to keep this but the fact these are $800-1700 pieces and just aren't 100% quality is making me rethink the product. It sits fine on the left side to the middle but the right side doesn't seem like it'll sit flat (front to back) once I pull the 3M tape off. I put off buying these for awhile but finally decided to go for it after hearing about their "great quality"....But I'm just not seeing it. Just thought I'd share.

That's kinda disappointing cause I was expecting them to be flawless for the price they charge

Agreed. I'm going to try a test fit again before throwing in the towel completely. Still not quite what I was expecting though.

I agree. As good as it looks in photos, my spoiler fits like sh!t and nobody will return my calls to try and get a replacement.

DEVAL on the other hand is a spectacular product and one of the prettiest examples of CF I've seen. The gents at EuroGearUSA are A1 as well.

Want to waste your money? Go Enlaes.

I've now emailed Enlaes 2x with no response from them. I've also called about 10x and they never answer and now their voicemail is full. Has anyone ever successfully gotten in touch with them? I'm trying to give them my money but it's becoming harder and harder to justify.

Pretty sure even TAG dropped them because they're so difficult.

I did finally get them on the phone today and they are going to give me a replacement spoiler which will hopefully fit better.

I had to have my spoiler replaced twice before they got it right. But my 3rd one was flawless and fits perfectly. Definitely a pain getting replaced over and over but it's worth it in the end considering there isn't really a good alternative available.

I did finally get it so it looks good but definitely not perfect which I expected. Whats going on with this company, hell get a spare trunk lid from a junk yard and test fit your product before shipping it out. I'm having a body shop look at it tomorrow to see if we can make this work, otherwise I will send mine back to ECS and wait.....wait....wait

I'll back you on that. I have the same issues. I'm contacting ECS today about this. I bought this too as I heard about the "great quality" but dealing with them has been a nightmare. I wish I didn't have to go through so many people to get this taken care of. I'm just asking for them to even respond to me and I'm giving them the chance to make this right but it's just taking forever. I'm definitely losing my patience.

Just chatted with someone at ECS and they said "I have not had any issues with these in the past".......we both must just have really bad luck then. [headbang]

They're just for B8, not 8.5. I don't know why spoiler makers think the same unit will work for both. Unless you see something made specifically for B8.5 only, I wouldn't buy any trunk pieces from anyone.

They contacted me as well to send me a new spoiler. Will see how this turns out.
