to replace end link with sway bar or not ?

My mechanic is telling me that buying new end-link like the moog might be a waste of money.. So, just curious, how many of you had to change the oem end link because they were shot and how many miles your car had ?

I replaced my stock units a few years back along with sways and I'm never going back. It was to me more transformative than even installing my Alu Kreuz. I can't speak for moog alone but to fully realize the benefits look into doing your sways as well.

the rear stock ones are stubby and pretty stout. probbaly won't see any improvement replacing that set. the fronts are pretty flexy though, and I noticed a difference when I swapped out the fronts for an alloy one even on a low miles car

I used Moog front and back and only changed my rear sway bar. The Moog rear links have polyurethane bushings but the fronts do not, they are identical to the front except the links themselves are steel. Definitely have a bit more feel in the front as a result even without the Alu Kreuz (mine is coming in this week)

I just recently got my Moog rear links from Amazon but i'm trying to figure out where the 2 washers go. Does one get sandwiched between the link and the bar and the link and the arm? Thanks!

I would think the opposite, between the link and the bolt/nut so that as you are tightening it there is something there to ride on.

I have the front and back Eurocode bars, set to stiff, and the factory endlinks....they seem to be holding up fine so far (15,000miles with the new bars). I would not call the front endlinks "flexy"....I am sure the bars can't exert enough force to stretch or compress the steel rod of the front endlinks....for the money, if you want the last 5% of roll control from the swaybar, get the Moog polyurethane ones...but its the bars that make 95% of the handling improvement to the car.
