Hi guys!
My 2014 S4 is going in for its 45k service and I was wondering if I need to get them to check something since it is going to be off the warranty period after this. I did put in a request to get those annoying rattles fixed and my blown headlight bulb (for some reason it turns on and then after a few mins it goes dark =\) .. What else should i call out for the service folks to check out?

Just confirm whether or not they are going to charge to you fix those rattles. When I asked my dealership they said they would charge (I was doing my 25k service at the time) so I was like nope nope nope.

Have them check the battery. I had mine replaced with Audicare
Have them check the weather strips around the doors. Those are known to "detach" and they will re-affix under warranty.
If you have any concerns about any issues bring it up and have them check/document those at this service so that if you have issues down the road they were already identified while under warranty. Other than that don't worry too much. Mine's been bullet proof since day 1 and I've been out of warranty a year now with no issues... wear and tear things will never be covered anyways...
BTW - I just had my 35k service done yesterday. I had them do a transmission fluid/oil replacement as well as rear diff fluid/oil replacement... plus lube the bearing in my short shifter. Not sure why they have those as lifetime fluids?! The TV rear diff in the S4 is the same as the RS5 and those come with an oil replacement schedule... why not the S4?!

Good to know. Did you notice anything different after you had the rear diff fluid changed? Car feel better? Probably can't really tell but I'm curious lol.

No not really. I only have 35k on it so wasnt like i was at 100k and replaced it. My friend did his at 50k and felt it shifted more smoothly (did his transmission fluid also)...

Hm, strange that Audi doesn't have this as part of the maintenance schedule..
