Hi guys
Just wanted to share my latest project.
Myself and another have invested a lot of time in this pulley.This pulley is now our 3rd style/overall size,and I must say it performs awesome! It is larger than what is currently made for our platform and we are able to 1.5psi more without really much increased IAT'S on his car..
Let me know your thoughts. This is glorious! Whats the final diameter or circumference on this pulley? And what alloy of aluminum stock was used?

1.5 psi more that what? Stock or JHM oversized crank pulley? Do you have any logs you can share?

1.5 over the current oversized ones..We did some logging in The car it's in..I will get him to email me the logs.

What supercharger pulley was being used in conjunction with it?

He has the cts charger pulley...I'm putting mine on and running with stock blower pulley..It's the same final drive as a existing dual pulley set up with just my crank pulley with Oem blower pulley.Im putting mine on as we speak.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160407/86d06db4ea6dfdd21669acc9feddefa7.jpg

Nice work Matty. I'm looking forward to your results. I assume the balance is the same as OEM?

I may need to contact you about this. I have a CNC shop in town that is planning to help but I need to make a smaller SC pulley for my car and mine uses a 4 bolt SC pulley now for 2016 instead of your friction fit one. I'm not sure how much this is going to cost though.

What grade aluminum alloy did you use?

BTW, did you put a thermal dispersant coating on your SC? Did it make any difference?

Well just went for a drive..I'm hitting 22psi on the podi,before it was 19ish
.Not saying that's the true boost,but it is showing a gain.I have the apr charger pulley on atm with it..I just did 1 quick pull because I'm not finished my meth fir blower,I'm just spraying in throttle body and intake tube..Hopefully I get my new spray nozzles tmrw so I can do some logging.

Remember that you should have lost boost pressure since you ported the blower so that means it's definitely spinning faster!

I'm confused. Is this viable for a true dual pulley setup, or does it essentially negate the need to get both blower/OD pullies?
I'd be interested but don't want to spin my charger to 50k rpm considering I already have a CTS pulley on haha

Viable for dual pulley set up (I.e. This OD crank pulley and your existing CTS charger pulley) and also viable for stage 2 if you don't want you replace the charger pulley you can replace your crank pulley with this one and it spins the blower as fast as the smaller charger pulley.

I had another post going on that subject.Anyways my coolers got damaged and instead of paying the same price ashown a used blower I decided to try out spraying water/meth directly into the blower in 4 places..I do not have my new nozzles yet so I can't test it out yet..

I made this with a plan to just use on a friends car and keep his factory charger pulley while still maintaining the same drive as the current duel pulley set up..I'm driving with this crank pulley and my apr blower pulley..It's not 50k rpm.lol
There us a big improvement in the 2
1500-5000rpm range..

Viable for dual pulley set up (I.e. This OD crank pulley and your existing CTS charger pulley) and also viable for stage 2 if you don't want you replace the charger pulley you can replace your crank pulley with this one and it spins the blower as fast as the smaller charger pulley.

The math would look like:

Stage 2
Stock Crank Pulley = 162.179
Aftermarket S/C Pulley = 57.56
Ratio: 2.82

Dual Pulley
JHM Crank Pulley = 179
Aftermarket S/C Pulley = 57.56
Ratio: 3.11

Single Crank Pulley
S4matty's Crank... = 196+
Stock S/C Pulley = 63.25
Ratio: 3.10

If it doesn't overspin the blower with the smallest charger pulley available I'm interested as well. I think $500 for a crank pulley is a little too much and then there's the other one for $1000

Ok got it! Only one thing, nozzles will spay right in to the sensor could be a problem? any way good luck! nice to see people pushing this platform forward.

I had the throttle body on for 2 days,The car did not like it! There was 4 wires that had to be changed in total.The main problem was at idle and kept getting TPS codes..I have different 80mm TB that I'm going to try this weekend.
The meth setup seems to be working pretty good atm. I'M having bypass issues at 5k rpm due to heat,so I'm going to play with the mix and add a bigger nozzle in the TB to see if that helps

Are you using the same TB that "Magnuson" uses in the stage 3 kit? I thought I read somewhere they were using a TB from a Hemi engine of some sort.

I'm not sure what size they are using.Mine was a 80mm from a 2005 300c with 5.7L. I just picked up one from a BMW 540i and it's also 80mm..Just need to find the pinout for that.

I think you will need to get tuned for the larger tb if it has a different tps sensor. That is one reason the apr charger has to be installed at a dealer, since they have to flash also. They said the car won't drive until the ecu was set for the new tb.

I would juts try porting the stock throttle body (depending on what it looks like inside) as it should be sufficient and be way less of a headache. Plus I highly doubt the stock tb is a restriction, so just a little port work will help airflow and you'll be good to go.

On a side note, can't wait to get my KI "lil killer" pulley 😈

Take it for what it's worth. The 80mm hemi is PnP on my 1.8t. Maybe there is variations. Sucks would've been cool
