Got a slow leak in my power steering system, I usually top off the fluid about once every 3 weeks. Starting the car today and heard the whine and I'm getting bubbles in my power steering reservoir.
Where's the power steering pump on these 4.2? I see 2 lines leaving the reservoir and I'm wondering if I have to take the frond end off to get to the other end or can I can I get to it by taking the belly pan off?

Where is the leak dripping down from. What area under the car? Take off the belly pan and have a quick look

will do as soon as it warms up a tad. Sucks working on the car when it's 9 deg and I don't have a garage [=(]

If you're lucky its one of lines between the reservoir and the pump. The pump is on the drivers side and is fairly close to the reservoir.

That would be awesome! Will I be able to see the pump from underneath?

On that particular engine I think it's not super fun. Maybe less than the normal amount of power steering fun. Follow the lines, I think there's nothing on the drivers side front of that engine. The thread below says it's just below the AC compressor and driven off the back of the engine.
Here's a thread that talks a little about where things are on that V8..

check the high pressure line in the pump , the 19mm/17mm flare nut running to the back of firewall. low pressure line passage from pump through block ----> rresevoir
