Hello everybody,

I installed some new reverse LED bulbs http://www.ebay.com/itm/80W-High-Power-CREE-HID-White-1156-BA15S-RV-Camper-Trailer-LED-Light-1141-12-24V-/252049369225?hash=item3aaf502889:g:mWoAAOSwyQtV1E-x&vxp=mtr
and was very impressed with the amount of light. I'd like to do a similar upgrade to the stop and turn bulbs but I'm concerned because the LED's usually throw errors and have blinking issues.

So I found some options that looked error free, inexpensive and worthy of the time. I wanted to get your opinion on whether or not I will have error or blinking issues with the propose set up.

I was looking to use these as resistors to avoid errors and blinking issues: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/1156-No-Error-Load-Resistor-No-Flickering-Decoder-for-LED-Light-J-5339/32562835664.html

Anyone have inexperience with trying to use LED's in the stop lights? My intention is to improve the safety/visibilty of the rear of the car.

I wonder how the LED bulb will react when the brakes are pressed, would the LED know to become brighter when the brake pressed?

Thanks for the help and I hope this helps anyone else attempting a similar upgrade :)

modifying blinker relay is a better option than these hot resistors.

is there an electronic blinker relay available for our cars so we can swap LEDs in as we please?

the relay is the hazard switch on your dash

oh right i forgot already, i just swapped that part out a few months ago too.. Vinny do you have a mod thread for that to reference?

OP: As far as brake lights, they are 1157 bulbs so they have two prongs, one for normal tail light, one for brake light. two different circuits, that is how they get brighter.

tutorial is great, but LEDs OP uses look crappy even for 2013, there are much 1157 LED's available now. Also consider white/amber switchback if you removed your amber corners already or considering to do so, maybe something like this:
