Well, the numbers are high just like some others we have seen. Very intersting. This was done on pure Shell 93 Octane fuel. We kept looking at the dyno wondering if it was reading wrong, but we entered the current weather conditions correctly and sure enough a stock B6 A4 170bhp car dynod at 136whp on that dyno, so apparently Audi may have underated these cars. Perhaps so as not to take away from the V6 sales. Other suggestions?

Here is a 3rd gear pull...

Here is a 4th gear pull...

I was told this dyno can correct for the gear used. Apparently this is the case.

Notice the 4th gear pull is only to 6200rpm. Well, I was going about 120mph on the dyno at the time and there was so much load, I just shut it down. I see why tuners are using 3rd.

I'll be dynoing my new programming in both 3rd and 4th as well.

cheers! Mike

hmmm seems close to what we dynoed. 3rd made more power then 4th.

4th gear pull was 179whp and 190 wheel tq seems to be about the same pwer just different gears

third was a bit higher

WoW so what is that about 220 hp at the crank, thats pretty crazy. It also looks like the power band is pretty smooth throughout.

Mike... You think you can help me find a Dyno near me other than Champion Motorsports? I have searched no luck.

Champion is the only one I know of near you. There is one in Tampa that are a bunch of thieves (400 per hour).

On a side note, I have to say that Champion was awesome at setting the dyno for me. Much more experienced with how to operate it than other places I have come into contact with. Champion was able to quickly run calibration tests and parasitic loss tests and many other places just throw you on and run.

There is a dyno locator on AW if you search their forum. It's pretty complete.

cheers! Mike

Awesome. Thanks for the info Mike.

I'm not too familiar with dyno ratings and comparing whp and crank hp - but it does seem that our B7's are pulling over the posted 200hp?

4th gear pulls on Mustang should be fine.. At least in my experience in the Mustang the car did fine in 4th gear..

Whatever you are comfortable with though..

Nice stock numbers BTW.. Love the turbo tornado..
