Hey guys i just replaced my spark plugs and my car is missfiring like crazy i got the bkr6e plugs gapped @.034 whats the recommended gap for these.

Regapped the BKR6e V-Powers to .040 and realized that i had switched coil 7 and 8 so either way it runs now still has slight hesitation and a occasional misfire any ideas? Replaced all of the vaccuum lines.

As I recall the a8 takes either ngk iridium or bosch 4 prong. They are both pregapped.

Stupid advance auto parts assholes. On the off chance anyone cares pretty sure i just pulled the original spark plugs out of the motor. They have audi/vw markings on them.

Very common - I'm pretty certain I pulled the original plugs out of mine too!
Those multi prongs are good for 60,000 miles, so there may not be a replacement schedule - mine were at 135,000!
Gap was over 1.5mm - so the engine is pretty tolerant (was hesitating though)!
Metric car, so gap is 0.8mm (approx 0.0315). You're too wide, so may be cause of misfire (0.04 = approx 1mm).

The iridiums I bought were gapped around 1mm but not consistently. The NGK plug fits multiple models (as would Bosch), may not all use the same gap.
I always check plugs - even multi prongs (although quite what you'd do about adjusting them I don't know!).

hmmm thats no good car runs fine but has a occasional missfire planning on pulling plugs back out and regapping. ill try .032

These things drop coils occasionally - they're not dear.
That could explain your misfire.
I had a fair bit of hesitation in mine, and I found most of the vacuum hoses were perished $15 worth of vac hose later and it's running nicely!
