This is so exciting![drool] and dangerous considering its tax return season[o_o]
Glad to see this kit completed and ready for sale. You guys were a big factor in me purchasing my 08 Avant back in November.
Thanks for answering all those questions too.

They can be quick and with all of the S3/R guys going to the APR EFR kit I can swoop up an IS38 turbo cheap and toss it on.

Plus it's been many years since I have been able to do a burnout, and I've never owned FWD before.

Although if I go A3 it will be AWD.

Be careful with the is38 had one send the turbine wheel out the exhaust with 800miles.

Want to borrow my welded center diff? You can do all the sliding and burnouts you want.

Yeah I have heard of some of the turbo scares.

That would be awesome! But since I am considering selling it, I would rather not work on it =[

Torque steer FTL

I just won't steer, so then it is just torque. and torque is win.

Despite my distaste for fwd and torque steer, I really enjoyed driving my brothers mkVI gti. If it was a 6mt that would have been amazing but DSG was fun in its own way I suppose.

It felt worlds faster than my b7. (Which is hardly shocking)

the Mk7 is pretty quick too, and I would probably go DSG

I actually liked the interior too. A bit more Spartan than my b7 but the seats were excellent and the controls and ergonomics all seemed to make sense. The head unit was a bit of a clusterfuck but I could get used to that.

Not sure if you're buying new or not but Stefan picked up and sold his E90 M3 for mid 30's that's what the gti's are going for new. Something to check out.

Yessir! The only thing that will change is this build thread will end - unless the next owner would like to continue it.

There will be a couple new B7s that will showcase some of our new modifications that we will be releasing!

I plan on holding off on anything for a couple months. I just bought an enduro bike and I have a jeep that works for getting me from point a to b. But I've been scoping out 2010 jetta tdi cup editions. With a stage 3 they are putting out around 300-350 ft/lbs of torque. With a stage 4 they are putting out anywhere from 340 to 400 ft/lbs [drool]. Also the kits are only like 3k and you don't have to rebuilt the engine at all. To top it all off you get 45 mpg as long as you keep your foot off the petal.

LOL I also have a Jeep, and an R6 to get me around once my car sells [:D]

That would be pretty sweet! On the MK7 GTIs the APR Stage 2 is putting down about 383WTQ on 91

Traction issues? Or torque steer? Those would be my biggest concerns.

I remember the torque steer in my old old Saab, never again. I drove my brothers mk6 dsg a few times, and I don't recall there being any torque steer to speak of. But I didn't drive it very far so I didn't have much of a chance to toss it around.

Haha one of the cars I test drove at the dealership, I launched it with no hands on the wheel and it pulled straight

My cousin's JCW Mini was constantly spinning tires and trying to throw you off the road if you drove it hard. It was still fun to drive though.

Nah, its not a PP unfortunately. I was offered an incredible deal for it so I couldn't pass it up.

As soon as the engine has broken in I will likely go straight to stage 2.

As of right now I have wheel spacers, DSG CNC'd paddle extensions, and a custom license plate coming lol.

Wavetrak!!

Also nice they've been able to engineer the torque steer out of modern fwd cars. Probably makes it more fun and slightly less sketchy.
