I did the DRL mod to my car today and noticed tonight that my high beams are inoperable. Oddly, when my lights are off and my DRLs are on, the high beam 'flash to pass' works but when I flip the stalk fwd, nada!
Any thoughts?

What is "the DRL" mod?
If your car is equipped with OEM Bi-xenon, use the code in red. If your car has halogen headlights, you cannot run independent DRL, because there is no independent "DRL" bulb for halogen B7s.
Coding

I am running halogens and we used XXX12 for a final code. What was odd is the default code for my car came up as XXX03 which is bi-xenon. I've never had bi-xenons...ever.
We coded it so that I have this set up:

Key on, light switch in off position

Key on, light switch in position 2 (fogs on, as well)

I know it's supposed to be 0 as default but I would like to keep either my city lights or something on as a DRL. Can I not do that based on my halogen setup?

I just ordered rims/tires and coil overs...don't get me started! My wife doesn't know about them yet and when she finds out, get the spare bedroom ready, Mike.

Yes you can have DRL and every thing functioning properly. You have to change your coding to XXX04. I'm not 100% sure on the code, but I know in Canada, Halogen B7s have DRL (All lights minus low beam ON with ignition).
