where videos can be posted lol.
and thats awesome evo's are pretty damn fast out of the box.
i'd be willing to bet your car is faster then mine now!
can we get some acceleration videos!?
I doubt that ha ha. It moves though for a ko4
A B7 Kill thread would be sweet! If it becomes popular enough it could even become a sticky =P
X2 for e85 vids
Ya I need to get some videos of it. Damn car likes to spin tires a bit.

If you came up here, seth would absolutely romp on you, his car is a beast...I would definitely get some rods in, up that boost to 26 psi, then come up to colorado and lets have a group caravan to mexico.

No problem[up]
You like to race a lot. You need to keep a go pro with you at all times to capture these races! That way you can bring back hope for the B7 community because everyone things the 2.0T is a slow car.
Jake, These cars are anything but slow when properly built...

yeeeeeaaaaah some of the members on here are delusional about the capabilities of a motor that maxes out around 550chp lol. obviously slow is relative but, as far as cars go, you can buy plenty of cars for ~$60k that would destroy our cars... lol

your logic is undeniable. i have a newer faster setup than your car, i'm talking about how you can buy a stock GTR or a TTRS which will smoke my car (and subsequently your car) for $60k...
there's only one logical conclusion!! I'm jealous of your baby blue 10 year old A4! That... I... have one... of.......... with 150 THOUSAND less miles... i might be negative but at least i'm not so retarded to think another member in the b7 section would be jealous of my 250 thousand mile whip i mean how delusional are you really lol. do you just say these things to convince yourself? i don't get it, you are the only person i know who thinks someone would be jealous of a 10k car...

Oh and the jealousy I speak of is the fact you have had nothing but issues with your pathetic build and cost you TWICE the money that you put in for something less than what I have done and it just eats you up as you are just still a little kid and want to think you can hang with the adults when you still belong at the children's table!

nothing but issues? lol i am not afraid to admit my car has had its problems, but they are all gone because i fixed them. You must have the only car to live to 250 thousand miles without a SINGLE issue... its miraculous you haven't replaced any parts or fixed anything!! lol gtfo haha do u think anyone is dumb enough to buy your garbage
did u ever post that dyno lol? of the 373 awhp that you swore like 10 times was over 400awhp... i feel like every conversation we have goes back to you talking shit about how your car is older, slower, more outdated, and never made the 400 wheel you promised us lol.
and for the millionth time, what issues are you talking about with my car? control arms, wheel bearings, yes these things go bad around 80k haha especially if you aren't on stock suspension like some people... lololol.
It may have cost me twice as much, but my turbo costs twice as much as yours and i've gone through two setups. my suspension costs twice as much as yours, my winter wheels cost 4x as much as yours and we won't even go into my summers. every single part on my car costs more than twice yours, the reason is because i bought quality shit lol, even the parts i dislike have not failed me.
But you can see how much it hurts me, you know i just bought a bike worth more than your car (or my car) right... haha and plus, if you want to talk about money, at least i pay for my own shit, and my MOMWIFE doesn't buy my mods lololol. uh oh jeff i'm exposing your secret life of doing nothing while your wife pays the bills lol. you're lucky she doesn't buy you a tricycle
btw, there are plenty of k03 and k04 acceleration videos showing the speedometer and tach that make the video you posted a few weeks ago look like it has a serious boost leak. you should get that checked out. there's a reason nobody commented on it, they didn't want to hurt your feelings.

The only things I have had to replace recently is the throttle body and the clutch because the DMFW finally went which has been mentioned of course. Yup my car is older and has older parts which will still spank your cars ass so get over that little tidbit and deal with the fact!
Sure if you want to lump in all your drivetrain issues along with your ongoing motor issues sure keep crying about them too! Stock suspension sorry little boy I have not had a stock suspension for a long time now...lol
Twice as much huh? Sounds like your trying to compensate for nothing! That's right my turbo costs less and will still beat yours as it would be broken down on the side of the road AGAIN!
Sorry little boy no boost leaks here so go back to sucking on your mommas rotten tit and pick her crack pockets to pay for your EXPENSIVE mods to help you compensate some more!
So as most can see time still hasn't healed your stupidity!

vizi how about you finally post up a dyno? or any proof that your car made 373 because that video is fucking weak. at WG pressure our cars move through revs faster...
how about you stop saying "its a fact" and actually provide some evidence?? lol what makes you so sure of the "fact" that you will spank my b7 lol, when mine has better suspension, the next generation turbo faster spool bigger powerband lol
Do you come to conclusions using facts, like ever? or do you just talk a whole ton of shit haha. sucking my moms rotten tit? what the fuck lol?? since when is being young and having awesome shit worse than being old and having awesome shit. especially since you're the one who's mom pays for everything lol...
crack pockets??? what the hell haha... seriously where do u come up with this shit hahahaha. does your wife sell crack? are you referencing your wife's rotten tit? you're the one emptying her pockets for your car, i don't get where the reference is going lol
looking for logic in the mind of an insane person... will drive a man insane haha.

its just so fun, and so easy... i've been daily'ing my car for 9 months and before that I drove my second car, another 2007 lol hardly a beater... this fool doesn't even have a job to daily his car to LOL, it sits at Absolute Automotive where they are SO legit that they couldn't do in two years what a shitty shop like RAI did in a week haha... all Vizi wants is to be in the 400awhp club, he's stated it in writing 1000x on this forum, actually stating that he's already done it lol, i don't see any evidence of facts

again dude, with the logic... you didn't have a job for like 2.5 years, while building your car, right? fact or not fact?
you're right, logically it follows that i am "too stupid" to read your build thread on my own haha... well i have a dan shank super tune, it made 40awhp (12%) more than your car and took a day and a half... how long did evan have your car for jeff? lol i don't need to reference my build thread either - you can look at it in my signature.
i'll have to take some videos for you soon [up] I would agree with Jake and head down to bandimere, do a quick 1/4m without any practice and laugh my way to winning my 100th argument with vizi using yet again, nothing but simple facts and logic... but we all know that would never shut vizi up about how we are all jealous lol.
That being said, idk if you are "too stupid to read" lmao but i said K04 videos on here are faster. you must be "too stoopid" to see what other people are posting in this section [facepalm] (for the record: i do not actually think you are too stupid to read. i just think you are too stupid to logically assess that people who are currently reading and responding are capable of reading)

I don't get why someone would 1/4m a 3600lb torsen car with a 4 banger. these cars are great on some mountain twisties... drag, not so much. which again was the whole point - our cars are not very fast not in a straight line lol not even in twisties, but for the price of $20k i guess you get more than 1/3 the performance of a GTR which goes for around 60k now

i mean its just honestly amusing you think someone... anyone... would be jealous of your car, l.m.a.o. people don't buy porsche's with 250k miles on them, a car oogled by every auto enthusiast. no one even spends real money on a 250k mile civic or camry which will undoubtedly run for another 100k miles...
i'm just not sure what kind of megalomania you have for your whip or yourself but, nobody is jealous of 100 year old people the same way no one is jealous of your car.
I'm sorry, do you think my dyno is showing corrected or uncorrected? uncorrected: 412awhp. but we were in a 109 degree dyno room, so corrected is 415awhp. both are 40awhp over your dyno lmao... so its completely irrelevant
Feel free to clarify how long you've had coils, its right around 10% of the total miles you've owned the car so that really is "quite some time"
Also feel free to clarify your unemployment status during the time of your build! I wanna know haha, i could just look it up again but i'm too stupid to read your build thread [;)] plus i find it absolutely hilarious that you are so ignorant as to talk shit about sucking on my mom's tit, while you actually had your wife pay for your build while you sat at home doing nothing lol

Yup still fucking stupid! Uncorrected numbers will be higher than corrected numbers also YOUR Hp was based on a boost level of 30psi Now it anyone can tell you that with me running at 23.5psi and at 373 hp if I dynod at the SAME 30PSI boost you ran at Id easily make more than the 414 you said you made! it's common sense!

i just disagree that 13.3 is a "fast" car... lol. i mean maybe like low 11's yeah that's a fast car. like i said originally its all relative. but relative to the cheap, available options, our car will never do 0-60 because 0-25 you're not in your ideal powerband...

oh you're right, i'm so fucking stupid haha that's why i can tell you that 30psi is not the same on two COMPLETELY different turbos, yes your car could run 30psi so why don't you? lmao... i'll tell you since you don't know: efficiency
and once again, i'm so fucking stupid that i don't even understand what corrected means!! google WCF, vizi, you are a fucking idiot. your corrected numbers will be higher if your conditions are worse than the STANDARD which is what the WCF measures. 109 degree dyno room, there's a reason i mentioned it, because i knew you were too fucking dumb to put 1 and 1 together that the uncorrected numbers would be lower at 109 degrees where the standard is set to ~72 degrees
For example, NOBODY IN COLORADO will EVER have a dyno where the uncorrected number is HIGHER. because we are AT ALTITUDe, so to CORRECT it to the STANDARD (not 6000ft of altitude) you have to ADD POWER lmaoooooo seriously dude where do you come up with this shit... [facepalm]
i guess that's just two more things this dumb kid who's crack peddling mom (not sure if that was meant to be racist but indian people are not known for crack peddling... gotta be accurate when you insult people) didn't pay for his build taught you. you're welcome, in earnest, for the lesson

and once again, i'm so fucking stupid that i don't even understand what corrected means!! google WCF, vizi, you are a fucking idiot. your corrected numbers will be higher if your conditions are worse than the STANDARD which is what the WCF measures. 109 degree dyno room, there's a reason i mentioned it, because i knew you were too fucking dumb to put 1 and 1 together that the uncorrected numbers would be lower at 109 degrees where the standard is set to ~72 degrees
For example, NOBODY IN COLORADO will EVER have a dyno where the uncorrected number is HIGHER. because we are AT ALTITUDe, so the CORRECT it to the STANDARD (not 6000ft of altitude) you have to ADD POWER lmaoooooo seriously dude where do you come up with this shit... [facepalm]

i just disagree that 13.3 is a "fast" car... lol. i mean maybe like low 11's yeah that's a fast car. like i said originally its all relative. but relative to the cheap, available options, our car will never do 0-60 because 0-25 you're not in your ideal powerband...
There are a lot of cars that are known as a "fast car" that only run mid to low 13s stock. A low 13 second car is faster than you think it is. Most stock RS4s only run in the low 13s. There are very few cars that run low 11s stock. It takes a LOT of power to run low 11s. These cars are also very capable of putting down fantastic 0-60 times. Power band has a lot to do with tuning.

what is a fast car? i don't think N/A V8's are fast i guess, maybe the altitude has glazed my eyes to their low end torquey fun.
I remember when we looked at that chart, yes i was impressed by the 13s cars, but the actually fast cars (ahem GTR) were much lower than 13's.
nd every second you shave is almost TEN percent gain, i mean that's a huge amount (ironically less that the difference between vizi and my peak power trololol) so a GTR is like 20% ish gain over a A4. and u can get into a 2009 for around 60k

Did you guys know that the PSI you see on your boost gauge is a matter of restriction? For very simple example, if your engine can only consume 400cfm and your turbo is putting out 500cfm that 100cfm is what translates into PSI on your gauge. If you engine was consuming 100% of the boost your turbo is making your boost gauge would read 0 PSI.

As you build more pressure though you force more air down the throat of the engine. But I it's an exponential curve of efficiency as you get higher in psi the gain in how much air into the cylinders is smaller compared to when you were at a lower psi. So you have gains but they start to dwindle out and eventually your turbine becomes the restriction when when you get to higher psi's.

"Weather Correction Factor"
What matters is that if you do another run after modding, make sure that it is WCF also.
SAE correction kinda corrects for the weather too.
The important thing is to compare numbers done with the same correction factor on the same type of dyno.

"the important thing" you just stated, has NOTHING to do with whether it is correcting ambient pressure or dyno calibration. once again, a completely useless rebuttal, that doesn't refute anything nor support your argument that correction factor is due to dyno calibration - apples to apples yes, but in the way you said it no.

Yup it all has to due with those compressor and turbine maps that everyone see's but has no clue how to use them. The idea is to match up where you want to have power and the most efficiency in your rpms. Also I believe it's call compressor choke when you start to push to much air which is bad for the turbo.

What are you reading, you don't read maps you have to do tedious calculations and plot out where you would be at what rpm on the map. This is usually done by someone who has been designing turbos for a long time. It is not a simple process of just looking at a map and say yup it can produce this much power. Their are a lot of factors plus you need to know your corrected airflow to truly determine what it can do. It also depends on where you want to hit that 50 psi. You also have to correlate that with your turbine map to make sure it can keep up with the amount of exhaust to prevent surge and choke.
Also to dumnjuny's point you have to factor in altitude and average air temps. If you live in denver you may want to run a larger turbo to try and get more oxygen.
In the end it's a simple more oxygen more fuel = MOAR POWER!!!

Unless you are also injecting egr gasses to control the explosion. Check out GDCI engines, they basically mix 2 fuels provide egr gasses and more oxygen but use the EGR to retard the explosion and cool the air. They are basically the future of high millage cars but they are hard to control because you have to keep them in a very tight temperature range otherwise you get pre-detonation.

You still have to correct the hp because of the air temperature. There is less oxygen in a cubic foot of 100 degree air as supposed to 72 degree air. If you ever take thermo dynamics, you would learn to use your thermo tables to find out the density of oxygen in a volume of air at a given temperature.

So that would mean at 109F which is what he ran is dyno in would mean he is getting less power then he would get at the average of 72F so his corrected hp would be higher. Here is an example:
At 109F the air density is 1.127 kg/m^3 At 1 atmosphere
At 72F the air density is 1.205 Kg/m^3 at 1 atmosphere
Using a simple ratio his horsepower would be about approximately 7% higher after correction in a perfect world, of course there are efficiency losses in there which would account for his only being a 3-4% gain.

If I dynod at the same psi as him even with a few degrees temp difference id be making more hp than him and that is what he does not want to comprehend. Mind you we are talking about a 6.5psi difference and that is a pretty big difference.

I had 7's at .032 when I was k03 felt a good diff. Put new 7's in when I went BT . I don't have meth but was always seeing a lot of timing pull and they look fouled for only having 9k on them .

haha well it was an easy explanation with a high altitude place that many B7s have dyno'd and can explain how a dynamometer works to you vizi, since you thought that the correction to standardize dyno calibrations... [rolleyes] haha you are hilarious.
yes they were done at RAI. that's why i did not mention altitude until giving an example which i started (past tense as in already happened and is now happening again) with "FOR EXAMPLE" lol... you are too funny haha really!!
which is why i said (past tense as in already happened and is now happening again) 109 degree dyno room and 100 ft of altitude offset each other (100ft is advantage over 600ft, 109 deg is disadvantage compared to 72deg)

as for spark plugs, are you guys talking about copper NGK's?? those should be swapped out almost every oil change, they don't last for shit that's why they cost $4 haha... but they do fire well.
you guys should consider just running oem bosch f5dp0r. they're silver, if i'm not mistaken. gap to .28 and just see how she runs... i absolutely love em did not find any benefits to the NGK's. get way better life than the coppers, too.

.028 would be a stock turbo gap. Since you have an upgraded turbo bring the gap closer to .025

Gotcha. I was confused when the altitude stuff came in and Vizi playing off that saying you dynod in MD. So is the dyno in your signature from MD or CO? Why don't you and Vizi get together since your location says NOVA (assuming northern virginia) and he's in north carolina? Or are you just in nova part time? Be nice to put an end to all this so we could laugh at the loser of the dyno runs...

Viz, to put the dyno thing to rest.
My car dyno'd in Colorado at 320hp\420tq uncorrected. Now corrected to the same standard as say what APR shows my corrected numbers where 380hp\502tq. Now the place I use also has a land speed record VW. Not that it matters but the corrected values up here are higher than uncorrected.
Anyways I am thinking that since I run e85 on the ko4 I might need 8's. I don't think the 7's can handle it for some reason.

I would believe that as altitude plays a big role in the numbers. My problem is has was trying to more or less say his numbers were due to altitude and they simply were not and was ranting on that and I could care less about that.

I have been super lazy with the car this summer unfortunately. Have had summer classes where I have to wake up at 6am and class is like 6 hours a day so I haven't been able to dedicate any time to the car really.
Other then that it drives good, the humidity with no meth or heatshield is a bitch though .
had some weather in the 60's at night and my car feels fast again lol

2-7 in third would be excellent! Please and thank you. I checked my spool vs Arjun's but I want to know how much sea level makes it different. We both hit 7-8psi at 3k. 30psi by 4000

No probs. Just gotta find enough empty road to do that on. So many deer in my area and the Audi already got in a fight with one once. Keep in mind my current setup torque and spool are Limited for my rods sake.

Thats what i was thinking. I thought it was a from vw transverse by looking at the oil fill tube. Parts still mostly the same? Was thinking of picking it up for spare engine parts and seeing if the block or head was salvageable to one day build and swap in

tuned it with jb4 and put catless downpipes in it. the car fucking hauled much faster then my b7 ever was. last week dodged a deer around a turn spun out hit a tree and totaled the car. so now i'm back and looking to fully partout any aftermarket parts.
