Audi GTG and Mullholland Cruise, Sunday January 27th.

Starting point: Super Car Sunday, car show in Woodland Hills. (Detailed directions here (http://www.supercarsunday.com/location))
I talked with Dustin, the event organizer, and he said that we could have the whole front row of the car show for Audi only parking.
Worth laying down a fresh glaze on the ibis[;)]


Meet/Greet from 7-9:50 am

Stage for cruise between 9:45-10am

Our final destination will be Lavaggio (http://www.lavaggio.net/index.html), an Auto Spa, where lunch will be provided. (More details here (http://www.lavaggio.net/index.html))

If you've never been to Lavaggio (http://www.lavaggio.net/index.html), here's a great chance to check it out with friends and enthusiasts. I'll provide more details as I get them.

Due to the parking area at Lavaggio, we are limited to 30 cars on site. First come....well you know the rest[:)]

The number 30 wasn't arbitrary...

Just so everyone understands how this was set up. Before B G 8er sent out the most recent mailing, we've been getting an average of 15 cars per cruise. So...when I spoke with Dustin about the possibility of resurrecting his offer from several months back, and he asked how many cars to plan for I said "15". He was generous enough to offer to arrange with Lavaggio for us to get 30 cars in there. As I am at Lavaggio almost every day for breakfast/lunch and a wash/detail, I can check if there is any nearby parking on the street. With 30 cars going into Lavaggio, I think the owner, David will have been inconvenienced enough by us occupying almost all (if not ALL) of the parking available at Lavaggio. I appreciate his generosity and don't wish to burden his other business as well by tying up parking across the street.

That said, I'll continue to stay in contact with Dustin and will update the thread with info if or as I get it. As you have also seen, Dustin can and does give us updates as well although he is playing something close to the vest according to his last post.[;)][cool]

Perhaps it can be a lunch stop for an event you(B G 8er) organize. Personally, I love sharing libations with friends but organizing a "driving" event that involves an alehouse... is potentially fraught with some serious liability issues. ^^Actually I think it was my fault. the mistake seems to have been made between Owoodee's list on post #107 and when I posted the next list.

That's a toughie. If you're into a lot of weekend cruising the suspension might serve you better but I think on the street you'll get more fun out of the tune. I'd say tune [:D][drive]

If I were you, I'd definitely do the suspension first. You get cosmetic and performance benefit from suspension being lower... agree with dii that an ECU tune is tons of fun and really wake these motors up but the suspension kills two birds with one stone. Every time you approach your car or look back over your shoulder at her as you walk away, you will appreciate the visual improvement of the car even parked.

I deleted my mufflers and replaced my mid with an x pipe. [>_<] Tomorrow i got a 11 inch magnaflow mid muffler coming in to bring it down a notch lol.

Owoodee, I actually just saw your other post on your exhaust. Piping work really looks good. I am not sure if you have enough room for a mid muffler. And for a NA engine, one mid muffler will not be enough to tone it down. I would suggest adding two straight thru mufflers in the back and keep the x pipe.

When you wash your car mix in a citrus smelling cleaner. It repels cats. [cool]

Also if you get the night rider red leds in your grill it will hypnotize the cat into submission. You can then kill or befriend the cat in the morning.

why dont i just put out some fresh can of cat food and throw a little bit of detergent in there...

Oh OH!!! you have no idea. I parked last night, talking on my phone and i see this dude pop his head up on my left fender just staring at me. Then it decides to slide off my car, casually, as i hear cat nails grinding my paint. I think i might be able to buff it out but that cat has a green light hit out for it. I'm buying a BB gun tomorrow. Ruined my day.

You can still attend the meet/greet and cruise. There's somewhere around ten people (possibly more) that won't be going to the Lavaggio lunch so perhaps they'll decide on a lunch spot when everyone meets up.
