The deal I found was substantially cheaper for et35s. Ideally I would get et25, but the person I'm buying from only has et35. Nearly $300-350 less than buying from direct. Also I would be able to get them this week, opposed to waiting months from the manufacturer.

The 285/30 seems to get more tall than wide. A 285 could look awesome, but I'd go V12. Also thought about a 295/25 for super square.

Wanted to share my experience with a set Bridgestone Potenza RE760 275/30/20 on AG M590 20x10. Unless this much lip showing from the rim is your taste. Tire shop is source another set of tires now to correct the problem. Originally wanted Michelin PSS but local availability is drying up. I'll post more pics of the setup once new tires are mounted.

Thank you, I think I will be doing this set up.. most likely will do without spacers to see where it sits, then add spacers on, ive never used spacers on any of my previous cars.. so it'll be a first..

Any opinions, going to be daily driver, not looking to track this car or anything. Also I'm not a fan of the wheel poking out from the tire, is 275 okay to stretch?

V12 or 760. If you like the rounded look, go 760. If you like a more square sidewall profile go V12. If you look at my build... my CK's (2nd set) are on 275/30 760. If you look at the 3rd set (CF10) you'll see what a 275 on 10" looks like.

I hope you can find super sports in that size. Discount Tire was not able to locate 4 of those for me in 285/30/20. I know Tirerack has some in stock but the price is quite a bit higher than I wanted to pay. The guys as my Discount Tire suggested I go with the Nitto Invo.

I love my ics10 and imo it can only be pulled off on a bagged 5. My camber is set to -2.5 and i have a 6mm spacer in the rear. Nothing is needed. No fenders rolled! Might even pull the rear 6 and throw it in the front and put a 7mm in the rear.

When you get an alignment you can tell them what camber you want to set it at. Mine is at -2.5 but it doesnt mean you have to stick to that. I believe mops has -3 camber. But i would say ull need at least -2.5 to be able to air out on et 30 wheels I wouldnt really want to risk anything less

As for color its all preference. Brush finishes are nice. But id personally go for a bright satin finish

Not at all. I went from 245/35/19 to 275/30/20 and it actually feels better

I took out the H&R OE Sport springs and installed the H&R Sport springs with a slightly lower drop...It def did get lower than the OE's,and has settled a tiny bit more since the photos were taken. I'm happy with the drop and am thinking about a front lip,so I wouldn't really want to go any lower.[:)]

It looks perfect. I was considering the OE springs being worried the 'sports' would be too low with a 20, but it looks great.

Welcome! That offset is quite weak. Not sure you'll find anyone running like specs.
I would highly consider some spacers. Maybe 10mm front and 12mm rear. And run a 275/30 [up]

In all the years I've been modding my cars...All the times I bought knockoff or cheaper wheels even after hearing stories of how crappy they were made and will bend,crack,blow apart at the hub easily...

Never once did I have an issue...

Treat myself to a nice set...I JUST payed them off Friday,sold a set of winter wheels to get some money back into my pocket,and the very next day,this happens.

Meh...shit happens. Got a replacement wheel/tire on its way. Could always be worse...Just a bummer is all.

Folks i put on the vossens cv5s 20 x 10.5 et42 on the car. It honestly wasnt a bad fit but as expected there was a slight rub on the inside, especially when locking over while reversing.
Now i used the oem ball seat stubs when i installed the wheels and they worked fine.

I then ordered ecs 10mm spacers with extended ball seat bolts, i installed them today and they looked more aggressive. However i am getting a wobble now and bolts are running slack. I am thinking its because i used the ball seat bolts and i should have gone with conical bolts.
Can anyone with the vossens and spacers confirm what bolt they went with. I will provide some pics of the look on Monday

i dont think 19's vs 20's would matter much. i bet it will be the combination of crazy neg camber and offsets in the negatives can achieve this. i think switchedstance had the look ur looking for, but i cant say for sure he was 100% aired out to achieve the look. check out his pics

our cars are very sensitive when it comes to the suspension/wheel subject. hopefully sanding down the hub will help. i also had issues in the past on my old s5 with spacers ( non DRA ). switched to DRA and it worked fine.

After lurking on here for quite some time I finally got some wheels, 20x11 Rohana RC8 (machined silver) on my '14 suzuka grey RS5, 10 mm spacer up front 5 mm on rear. Stretched on my stock 275/30 tread, but 305/25 Michelin pss are in my future.. I would post a pic but apparently I'm not allowed :l

They look very close to the mirror caps, at least on the RS which are MATTE Alu-optics. The S5's are a little more brighter. Still will be a great match. The rims are MATTE, so they are not super shiny.

Also no gold in them at all. Could be the afternoon lighting in some pics.

So the shop sanded down the hub and i am having the same issue. With the car rolling at 20mph the steering wheels shakes from left to right. I contacted ecs for some help, sending them some pics for a suggestion tomorrow. If anyone has had similar issues please let me know.
its frustrating as i put on the diffuser, lip and grill and only the spacers resulting in the car staying in the garage

Posted this over in the new owner introduction page; realized I should have probably posted here:

New S5 owner here. I have been a previous Audi owner (2000 S4 stage 3 AWE kit) and was dumb enough to sell it and buy a Range Rover. Thank god it's gone and I am back into an Audi.

I was looking to do a summer set of wheels / tires and using the stock wheels as my winter rims. I was interested in the Rotiform BLQs and was curious if anyone has had these rims and if so how did they hold up? I am in NJ and anyone in the NE can vouch for the utter crapiness of our DOT program.

Also, what offset should I order if I am going to do H&R sport springs and do some spacers too or are spacers not necessary with the right offset?

New S5 owner here. I have been a previous Audi owner (2000 S4 stage 3 AWE kit) and was dumb enough to sell it and buy a Range Rover. Thank god it's gone and I am back into an Audi.

I was looking to do a summer set of wheels / tires and using the stock wheels as my winter rims. I was interested in the Rotiform BLQs and was curious if anyone has had these rims and if so how did they hold up? I am in NJ and anyone in the NE can vouch for the utter crapiness of our DOT program.

Also, what offset should I order if I am going to do H&R sport springs and do some spacers too or are spacers not necessary with the right offset?

all about camber and tire size. stretch a little and add negative camber and ur good. im running 20x10.5 ET 24 in the rear with 275 tires and pretty low w/ -2.5 camber all around. no rub with just me. very slightly rub with a passenger.

Just curious, what's your reasoning behind not wanting to drive a lowered car? There's a wide range options in lowering your car. From lowering springs, to coils, to air suspension. Each have different prices, purposes, and function.

Agreed.. I have springs on my car and the ride feels damn near stock, and I have no problem with speed bumps, ramps etc.
And it looks 100% better :)

It's nice to see everyone is still putting the time and effort into the research before the mods, they're getting better and better. Just turned my HRE's in for a new shade, Graphite with satin clear coat finish. I'll post pictures before they're on and when they're on. Also, i'll put before and after for the 3 separate looks the car has had, from OEM-FOG-GRAPHITE. If i can figure it out, if not, i'll post the link like last time.

Thanks, took a lot of time to decide on the exact setup but I think it worked out. The width of the tires is the MAX you can do all the way around, although, I have heard some people trying to use 305s in the rear, probably with rolling fenders too, but there's no point because in increases the already bad under-steer. I had to stiffen up the front suspension, and increase rebound, so it balanced out, and I softened the rear and so it's perfect all the way around.

I find The Rs7 wheels look good from the side but since the blades are not straight like the original Rs7 wheels it sometimes look weird from certain angle....but that just me. They also fit better the line of a four doors car. However they less common than the the other ones. I had them on my S5 and finally went back to rotors. You should consider 20" rotors or theses Rs5 wheels...

Originally posted this in the S4 forum since there was a thread there about this particular wheel. These O.Z. legerra HLT's are really light weight. I weighed these on the bathroom scale before mounting. With Michelin PSS's, these come in at 47.2 pounds (19x8.2, 30mm offset). Stock 10 spokes with Pirelli Sottozero II (my snow tires) weigh in at 56.4 lbs, so over 9 pounds saved per corner! You really can feel the difference with these on. Also, I believe these have just a few mm lower offset than the stock wheels, so it looks to have just a slightly wider stance. I'm saving up for Bilstein PSS10s and spacers to get the stance I'm looking for, I want about a 3/4"-1" drop. Got a bunch of brake upgrade parts from ECS last weekend. Getting ready for my first track day at Mid-Ohio this month![:D]

Should be perfectly fine. I am on 20x10 et27 with 5mm spacers on 275's and only rub on really big dips, but could likely be rub free with a little camber adjust.

I got the H&R Sports springs part number ES#2636779 on my 13 RS5. Got the same wheels RC7. 20x11 all around. Running Michelin PSS 285/30.
Right when I installed this setup I had rub issues in the front. But got the fenders rolled. Perfectly fine after that. No Rubbing issue and to be honest sexy stance with perfect grip.

OEM swap is expensive from what I have heard...had mine wrapped gloss black at a shop as I heard it can be a tricky DIY project. Wrap is also reversible if you ever wanted to go back to chrome.

Super expensive! Just pay $150-$200 for a wrap. The end product will look oem. I did mine satin black using Oracal.

Did a refresh on my A5, blacked out the chrome with vinyl, H&R sports and VMR V803 in gunmetal. 19 8.5 et35 Spaced 17.5 / 20. I actually think the wheels look a bit too dark with the black car. Gunmetal is great on colors but a little bit lost on black, depending on the look you're going for.
