Some might remember, but back in January my car went into the shop to fix a bearing in my clutch...but turned out that I had the wrong engine in my car. More details can be read in the old post: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=186933

Anyways, the issue is finally resolved after 9 months and 13 days. First, I must give all the credit to Mike at Northbay Imports in Connecticut, whom I originally bought the car from. Northbay buys all of their cars directly from Audi Financial, which is the main reason I bought from them in the first place. Audi Financial admitted this "slipped through the cracks" and gave me a full refund. For the entire 9 months, Northbay was doing the legwork for me, which they did not have to do. They could have left it up to me to figure out and hire a lawyer.

In the end, I bought another car from them since I was so impressed...2007 A4 Titanium Black/Black. This post may sound like a sales pitch, but I'm just speaking from experience. That was the longest 9 months of my life, but I have another Audi!

I received everything back for my stereo equipment, snow tires, floor mats, etc. And since I bought my new car from the same place, they considered the deal a trade, so I received my taxes back as well. The only money I didn't get back was the insurance I was paying on the car for 9 months.

Pics are coming soon!

I'm glad that everything was worked out.

Sounds like it was a rough 9 months, but at least you have a nice new car now.

I honestly don't know for sure since I was told many different things (wrong engine, wrong crankshaft, wrong flywheel...)

I remember this well. Glad things worked out well for you, especially now that you have a much nicer titanium packaged car.
