Stasis Ohlins SL or Bilstein PSS9

I've narrowed my suspension choices down to the two above. I have a B7 S4 Avant. I just wondering the pro and cons to each. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

I've been using the Stasis Motorsports for the last few months after upgrading from the Tracksports and couldn't be happier. I doubt you'll find that much difference between the PSS9's and the Ohlins, but I think the Ohlins might be a little better if you plan on tracking the car on a regular basis.

Edit: Ohlins SL... I haven't tried these yet...

you can get the pss9 for about $8-900 less the STaSIS SL's. Both are excellent options. The STaSIS will allow you to pick a higher spring rate which can be nice. You could go with something like 750-800#F & 1000-1100# rear. The PSS9's (s4 version) are ~625-650#F&R.

The STasis will allow you to dial out more of the inherent understeer by going with the higher rear rates. STasis will match the dampening to what ever rates you pick. The PSS9's you are going to have to deal with the rate you are given.

Now, onto your question....I actually haven't driven on a set of SL's yet so I can't say how they compare to PSS9's. The advantage I see to SL's is that they're Ohlins dampers which surpass Bilstein dampers. However, an advantage to the PSS9's is that they're 9way adjustable, whereas the SL's are fixed in that regard (and only ride height adjustable).

Thanks for the break down. I'm planning on heading out to the track around 5-7 times a year. I'd also plan on squeezing in a few auto x's as well. I would like to lower the car around 1" and install 19" wheels on it (not the best for racing, I know. But they look so damn good :o) ).

5-7 DE days + auto-x's is quite a bit....you may want to look at the STaSIS/Ohlins MS's then.
