i love the DIY u wrote up where are the headlight LED's???
The headlights (FK projections) are being re-modded with these brighter LED. Im running into some issue with proper mounting material and clearance - to make sure all 12 LEDS (on each headlamps) are in proper formation and distance wout looking too aftermarket(?) and wout affecting normal headlight operation (adjustments and wirings)
The style will be similar to the new TT-S leds- the S5 LEDs are far more complicated- it's a specially made/collimated lens and housing that gives that bright glaring effect, even under daylight. The LEDs i have currently are far better than my previous LED stripz. These new LEDs can be seen as a conformed point of lights under true sunlight/daylight. And very bright in shades and nighttime.
Hopefully i can come up with a solution by end of this week, cause i miss my HIDs damnit!
The "new" current Fog Grill LEDs were installed (measuring, drilling, wiring, gluing, connecting and testing) both sides- in 2hours! thats how easy it was! (providing all materials are ready on hand).

A 1 watt, or higher watt LEDs will require extensive wiring, proper resistors and proper mounts with heat sink and even a proper cooling system if mounted in an enclosed area. 1 watt leds produces heat.
These LEDs are 4chip design- 4 Light emmiting diodes crammed in one small space (about 5mm) and a dome lens-produces very bright output. They are borderline for show, and ''driving'' lights as in DRLs cause people do take note/twist head when they see the car, even under daytime. The natural recess of the Fog Grills also acts as hoods/shades so yes- they can be seen during daytime driving.
