Is there any consensus as to which dealers are good and which to stay away from? Keyes Audi is closest but after my last few experiences there I doubt I would buy a car from them, Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills seems pretty useless also.
Any recommendations good or bad experiences appreciated!

all you need to know is that PENSKE AUDI WEST COVINA is hands down the best dealership in the world. Maybe even the universe.

I can't speak for Penske, as I've never been. It's a bit too far for me. I live in West La, almost in the Marina. Keyes Audi tried to do a bait and switch on me. Watch out for those salesmen, stay away!
I also dealt with Rusnak Pasadena, Downtown LA, Santa Monica, and Pacific Audi.
I was dealing with them all to settle on a price and then order my car for that price. I had previously bought two A4s from Rusnak Pasadena, and was leaning toward them. But they wanted to sell me the S4 for $1700 over invoice. I finally went with Pacific Audi in Torrence. I ordered my S4 and got it for $750 over invoice. It was the best deal, especially for ordering a 2008 in October of 2007 for that price. Out of all the dealerships I went to, they were the ones that really wanted my business. They did all the following up, where the other three just said call me when you are ready.
About a month after I was in the showroom, I got a letter from the sales manager, and then a follow up call a week later. The call was to tell me there was an RS4 in the showroom in Sprint Blue. They told me to come and check out the color and make sure I really wanted it. So I did. Got to speak with the sales manager for a few minutes. Of course, that was their ploy of getting me to order the car that day, but to their dismay I simply said no. Of course, they were not pushy, it was said in a more humorous fashion. A couple of weeks later, I was able to sell my A4 and ordered my S4. I did get a quote of $500 over invoice through the fleet manager at Santa Monica. Cool guy, but he didn't follow up.
I would recommend speaking to the fleet or sales manager only. And I would say, from my experiences, Pacific, and Santa Monica. People rave about Penske, so you should check them out!
I hear Pacific Audi is crap when it comes to service though.

Damn, story of my life - the best dealer is never close. When I was buying my GTI the best dealer was just too far - San Juan Capistrano.
Anybody know who handles fleet sales @ Penske? I can try Santa Monica Audi, and maybe Rusnack Pasadena but even Pacific is kind of far. Anyone have any experience with Beverly Hills Audi?
On a side note, I'm choosing between a New TT 2.0 and a A4 2.0 Quattro Sedan/Avant S-Line Titanium package, any impressions or advice?

I've been to BH Audi. That guy was kinda shady. Wanted to sell me a black S4. I wanted the Sprint Blue. He said, "Blue, black, it's the same color." I passed.
Here's the info for the fleet manager at Santa Monica. I know they have a silver DTM pkg on the lot. Or at least, they did last week.

I have dealt with Keyes Audi. While their service is quite good, there sales staff is another story. I do not do business with them. Although, I will wait and see what happens when they build there new terminal style dealership currently under construction. Auto Gallery - two reasons I will never do business with them. (1) Shoddy service- couldn't handle fixing a simple loose hose in my A4 Avant many years ago. (2) I do not give business to any dealer that treats Audi like crap. I mean they just finished building this spanking brand new Porsche showroom, but they continue to sell Audis out of a trailer, literally. Nothing more than trailor trash as far as I am concerned.
My best experience has been with Pacific Audi in both sales and service. Having recently bought all my Audis from them, I find their sales managers, Chris and Trent above reapproach. Always, go out of their way to help me. Service has been excellent (though I really do not service my cars that much except for the mandatory oil changes), they always have a loaner waiting for me (Q7) and I get my appointments whenever I want them. I also get special pricing on accessories and other items. So, Pacific Audi rules as far as I am concerned, and they have earned my loyality. IMHO, you should establish a strong relationship and loyal relationship if you can with a dealer that you like. It pays off dividends in the future for you. If it is a good dealer, they will value your loyality and recopricate in kind.

Penske Audi for sure.
I've bought 10 cars so far and dealt with more than a handful dealers, but Penske Audi is by far the best place I've experienced.
it's not only the service department (many kudos to Chris!), but the fleet sales (Jerry) and parts (John) departments are superb as well.
it takes an hour to drive to Penske and there are other dealers nearby, but I'm more than willing to spend an hour to get such great services from Penske.
thumbs way up! [up][up][up]

We're sorry we lost him too. I enjoyed working with him. However it is good to know that there are "good guys" out there at other dealerships too. So often, it is not the dealership but the person one deals with that makes the difference

I would avoid Audi of Mission Viejo! I have had nothing but an incredibly poor experience with my CPO A4. Mine had extreme wear all over the interior trim (which the dealer replaced when pressured) and a 3 inch tear in the drivers carpet area. The dealer told me basically that it isn't their problem. They even conveniently lost my inspection sheet and said basically "too bad!" I have been dealing with both the dealer and Audi USA since December and although I've had several people at the dealership (including the service manager!) say that my car shouldn't have passed the CPO inspection, nobody is willing to do anything about it! Numerous calls to Audi were pointless and they basically told me they don't get in the way of sales transactions!!! WTF!!! How about stand behind your product if you are going to sell yourself as the best in the buisness!!! To top it off, I have since had to replace all four tires (they told me they were new), the brakes make a weird noise (again, they told me they were new), the sunroof leaked and had to replace the entire headliner (under warranty thankfully), all four wheels apparently had been refinished (poorly I might add as I always thought the finish was somewhat rough) and are now all flaking apart, the headlight switch lighting is out (waiting to take in until service required on this one), the tiptronic backlighting is out (also waiting), there is a rattle somewhere in the headliner (again, waiting to take in), and it seems like its just one thing after another!!! I've encountered nothing but rude and defensive dealership employees (including a sales manager who basically threatened to remove some of the interior trim they replaced as he said "they didn't owe it to me") and a corporation who doesn't give a sh@#t about their customers or their products!
Am I pissed!? You bet! Do I think Audi should step up instead of hide behind their dealer? Absolutely! The only thing I've learned from all of this is to never buy used (no matter how good the warranty is), and to be cautious to buy an Audi altogether. Oh yah, and avoid Audi of Mission Viejo like the plague!

it almost sounds like a fraud....maybe you should take 'em to court and they'd then do their best to either get your money back or do the right thing before the news gets out to public.

I got an 08 Ibis A4 Quattro with full S-Line kit and Ti package. Fully loaded except for navi. 6 Spd Manual. 10,000 miles a year (but i never actually follow the mileage limit). I put 2 down with tax and first months payment included. Im paying 411$ a month. BUT, they didnt have the car i got at their dealer, they did a trade in from the dealer in Mission Viejo. So the bastards put like 80 miles on my shit..haha I bet the salesman had fun driving here...

as of this writing, I've contacted Audi of America on several occasions about this and each time they refuse to get involved. What I've noticed since my experience also is that there are alot of examples of CPO cars on various dealers lots with minor damage on them that I am amazed they pass the certification process. I was at another dealer this morning and they had a CPO S4 that had a sizable dent in the front fender and the rear bumper looked like it has been bumped a few times! WTF! I would love to know who signs off on these cars...I even confronted the service manager and CPO manager at Mission Viejo with my problems and he verbally told me it shouldn't have passed CPO inspection with these things wrong...of course, when AofA confronted them they played dumb and changed their tune. Im basically screwed with no more options as both AofA and the dealer refuse to ackwnowledge there is anything wrong here...

STAY AWAY FROM RUSNAK PASADENA. THEY ARE SHADY AND HAVE UNETHICAL BUSINES PRACTICES, ESPECIALLY JASON!
PENSKE for the win. I regret not giving them my money. Getting a new audi next year and you can be sure that I will get it from Penske. These guys are pretty down to earth and not pretentious at all. The same goes for the female salesperson. She's cute also!

Probably want to get a Q for the misses next year when she and the kid outgrows the GTI. I'll sell the Maxima, take over the GTI for my daily and work on getting her into a Q. It all depends on how finances are as work has been a bit slow for the year.

I just got something from Pacific Audi, an extra $500 of your deal.

Were you just walking the lot?
I dropped in there once to check out a new ride for my dad, and had quite a disagreeable time with one of the salespersons. Can't remember his name now, but he told me the B8 S4 Avant would not only be coming to the US, but would also still have the V8. When I told him I'd heard differently, he walked away and didn't talk with us again!
On a brighter note, I did see THREE R8's there...all three were black.

personaly i love keyes audi on van nuys. ive bought 4 cars from them, had great experience with them, they always give me super great prices. My friend leased an 08 a4 2.0t fully loaded with navi, heated seats, blue tooth, s-line, convenience package etc. top of the line. absolutely zero out the door + first month free, and hes paying $435/m tax INCLUDED, so i guess without tax its about 400, now i think thats a great price dont u think for a fully loaded car with navi? they said they lost 2k on that car and he even provided me with evidence. they bought the car for 36k and sold it to him for 34k.
ive had great experience with service also, theyve done everything for free all the time even the things they r not supposed to do. Just make sure to go to Tony in the service dept. Thumbs up for keyes audi. btw i know the manager and sales person there, if any of u are ready to buy u can contact me and ill call them up and make sure they give u great service. [up]
