View Full Version : Eurocode DV Replacement

So after getting the Neuspeed ECU flash I got to know what my CEL looked like. I ended up breaking 3 stock DVs. So last week I installed the Eurocode 2.0FSI DV Replacement Kit. (http://www.ecodetuning.com/shop/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=1132) They claim it will not throw codes. Within 2 days mine did. The whistling sound it makes is great, but I am concerned with its performance. Anybody else use this thing?

Thanks for the links. But there was not anything in there about long term satisfaction with the product. Mostly about how old one of the posters is and more about how long ecode takes [:)] . I'm looking for specific feedback about people getting DV codes and CEL. Also, re: the install, the instructions call to tie into the brake boost line for vacuum. The audi tech who installed mine used a jack going directly into the intake manifold. Any thoughts on that?

mine didnt throw any codes... audi dealership doesnt even care i have it.
diverters are all same. the dv replacement is just a silenced blow off valve. I have no trouble so far, and also i dont hear any difference in the two valves... I had it installed along with the ecode tp, i thought it was the dv replacement that was making the farting sound but when i took off tp, i realized it was the tp that made the sound.

So your DV didnt make any extra noise? Mine does. Maybe its installed wrong but it sounds pretty sick. Not sure how the guy installed it wrong...he is a master tech at the audi dealership.

Do not go ditectly to the manifold as it sees both boost and vacuum, the brake booster sees vacuum only because of the one way valve.

read up on it on VwVortex...causes surging issues which can damage your turbines
