I think it's a pump issue. I have the revised valve.

OEM Breather Update Kit
Restore proper boost levels with this kit. This kit comes without a gasket
This ECS/OEM kit includes the following parts:
OEM Upgraded Regulator Valve ("G" Version)
Gasket for valve
Upgraded valve cover breather tube with internal check valve

err, I have a regulator valve. Not sure what gasket or valve cover they are talking about. However I have never noticed abnormal boost pressure. Mine is always consistent. I hit 21ish and then taper to 16ish at redline w/ my k04

Those guys are not supplying proper information. All of our US model cars already have that upgraded pressure valve. The pump is what is needed.

bhvrdr what is wrong with what i posted? Also my car is going probably going to be the first Stage 3 Audi built by APR used for the picture guide to build the car kit.

I was supplied information on upgraded fuel pressure relief valves by a company in europe about a year ago and discussed it with APR. They advised at that time they were also looking into these valves and were supplying them with the k04kits. I had the valves at that time and as I looked into it, I found that all US model cars we could find including early build date B pump equipped 05.5 cars already had the upgraded valve. What is needed is the pump and injectors.
