S6 LED retrofit kit for S-Line A4 bumper

What's up guys - I just wanted to share some info with those of your whom are looking into installing S6 LED lights into your car to look something like this:





In a nutshell, I got lots of PMs on how to do this retrofit but since I didn't do any of this myself (all credit goes to my shop Creative Kustoms in San Jose CA & Enigma's shop in TX for being the first one to getting it done) so I talked to my shop into coming up with a kit to make it easier for everyone that is interested.

This kit will come with everything that you need to put together these LED lights into a S-line bumper including brackets, new grille insert, wiring, wiring diagram, switch, resistor, etc. Pretty much everything but the LED lights itself (which you can get from stealership or madaudi.com). I should have all the details sometimes next week like pricing and exact part list.

So the catch is that to make it worthwhile for them to come up with this kit, they need to get at least 10 people whom are interested. Please keep in mind that I'm not in it to make any profit but just wanted to help everyone out to achieve their modding goal

As far as I know (and from the look of it) that no cut's required.

It's going to much different for non-SLine bumper because the fog grille is integrated into the bumper body itself unlike the S-Line fog grille which is removable.

I understand that there are many fitment issue like Matt mentioned but for the time being it's based off my bumper so fitment is limited unless someone want to actually visit the shop and help out the cause.

At a minimum you'll have to cut out the stock fog holder. My shop had to slightly cut the outer part of the fog grille opening, but it's hidden by the LEDs themselves. Yours might have done it a little different though. Glad to see that you're getting this for others.

Guys, I wanted to do this mod badly but decided not to, since the shop said I would lose performance due to the reduced air flow to the intercoolers and also, the heat generated by the leds. However, I am more into perormance than show

Since I am the only one that did this myself... there is lots of cutting involved and it took me lots of hours to get the bumper cut out so the lights fit OEM. Its good that you will have grills and brackets. You still have to used something to hold the front of the light to the bumper. I used 3m window weld so there was no vibration. Good luck guys it not as easy as it looks.

i love those LED's they look so cool on the car. great idea to get those going into the B7's. question though, i know useage may be put aside for the looks, which i would do too, but do these help at all in weather conditions? like did they implement them into the S6, and the new models because they just look cool or do they replace the fog lights and have some sort of benefit ? just wondering, looks so sick though.

I think Creative Kustoms is going in the right direction. I think they would do well if they offered a complete kit including the lights and maybe an option to use a mesh type insert that covers the intercooler intakes similar to the RS4, seeing that most people who want do the LED mod seem to have the RS4 big grill anyways.
