Loving those wheels man. Were your stock ones 19? How's going from 19 to 20"; Any noticeable difference in handling, ride comfort?

Stock were 18's. Ride comfort on these two sets of 20's is comfortable and the handling is much better now. The lower profile and better quality tires helps.

Steve, I don't think he sells just the modules for your A7. What year is yours? I think you would need the full post facelift tails which he sells along with the sweeping modules.

Sorry, just saw you have a 16'. Read your message too fast. I'd send [email protected] an email and inquire. You should already have the LED tails so I'm not sure? Would look killer for sure!

Zach, thanks! I've fully embraced the silver trim bits. I wouldn't ever touch the grille since it's one of my favorite features. Looks classy and all the other elements match that so silver it is. I'm way too OCD to use plastidip or vinyl (no disrespect to those who have).

This is my allroad. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Received a package from Germany a few days ago. Euro Trunk Organizer Retrofit Kit. Part # 8K9-098-550A

Kind of a silly thing, but this is something I've wanted to do for a really long time and had pretty much given up after striking out a few times with International sellers. At one point these could be ordered from dealers in the USA but have since been discontinued.

Tracking down parts is half the fun too!

This is much more functional than the mesh net which I've been using.

The aluminum telescopic retainer can be moved back, forth and diagonally. Same for the retaining band but can also be placed so both feet are on one side to hold a box in place, etc.

I'm going to eventually trim out the sides of the OEM trunk liner so I can continue using that as well. Hopefully that works out!

Love this unit/ setup. I'm up in Canada and bought my Allroad CPO and unfortunately there was no option for this. Never even knew it existed.

I'm a Realtor and always have signs, shoes, gym bag, briefcase etc in my trunk. Having it all slide around drives me beyond crazy especially when it risks scratching the side panels. In for knowing the cost Eric.

Off topic Eric - other than your pro photo shoots, what are you using to take these random photos? Just an iPhone or an actual quality camera?

Yep, it's a thing. I had seen it in an allroad accessories brochure when I first bought my car. It was never a high priority on my mod list but the opportunity popped up. 350 bones. This was normally sold for $500-600 so I'm happy with this price.

You're best bet for purchasing a set of these is on the Avants Only section. There was a Group Buy that may or may not still be going on (i'm not the organizer). I picked mine up before that started but the source is the same. Price should be somewhere around $350.

I'm far from pro! (but thank you!!) I just point and shoot, occasionally getting some good ones. The random shots are from iPhone 7 Plus. I usually only get the big boy out immediately after a fresh wash but hope to get some in the snow this winter

I was waiting for someone to ask this. As it turns out these require new brackets in order to hold them in place correctly. There was some confusion from the seller assuming we had these brackets already installed in our North American cars. Chalk that up to decontenting.

Here's a photo showing the original side removed. You can see the holes in the rear where the new bracket attaches.

I currently have the rail being held in with the original bracket in the foreground for now until I receive the (4) new brackets, (2) front, (2) rear.

Here's an exploded illustration showing the mounting.

I also have PDF installation instructions. Email me and I can forward those along

Good to know. Where did you source the correct brackets, and how much are those? Got a part number? We should confirm with @kdaffy that the group buy rail systems include the correct brackets.

Just finished trimming out the sides of the OEM trunk liner. Worked out pretty well and I feel much better that the flooring is protected.

    Removed the rails

    Laid the trunk liner in

With a utility knife I started from the top left corner and notched out a small section and went in until the edge of the carpet. Then ran straight down that edge towards the front. You're safe by coming out about 1/2" past the last nub.

    Final result

This is definitively overall my favorite build I have seen. I just sourced the same wheels OEM RS5 20x9 et26. Are you happy with the tire size you chose? Hindsight would you change that? Looks to be perfect especially once lowered. Still trying to decide if I should go lower...

Thanks, it's been a fun car to mod! I have a few more things in mind I'd like to do this year.

Congrats, they're great wheels for the AR and fit perfectly without any need for spacers. My rotors have Michelin PSS 255/35R20 and I'm right around 26.25" FTG. If you read any of the wheel/tire threads you'll know that not all tires are made equally at the same size. This size tire in a Hanhook Ventus V12 is not going to be as squared off so would allow additional lowering without rubs. I can't go any lower without changing out to a different tire or adding some negative camber. I'm at close to stock camber specs as well. I rarely rub at the moment unless I'm really hauling some ass into a deep turn.

So, think about what your goals are before making that tire purchase. I go back and forth whether I'd like to go any lower in the future. The ride comfort and grip level of the PSS is very good and was a bit of an investment so I'll likely hold onto these for a bit. Short term, if anything, adjust my camber on my next alignment and maybe go to 26" FTG? The struggle is real.
