    For my B7 A4.....

    You can see the progress. Very easy to do and cheap. You can use the same the tool for the rotors as well. The one pictured is the one i bought. The come in 3 different styles; fine, medium, and course. The one I bought is medium.

    What did you mount the plate to so that it could be turned at a specific speed while you honed the surface?

    Unless you made an apparatus to have it at a set height & speed, I wouldn't trust it being level.

    The flywheel didn't look to be in terrible shape to start with and all a hone is going to do is deglaze the surface. It won't remove much material. I'm sure it's fine for a stock car.

    If you didnt have clutch chatter before. Very much doubt it will chatter now. All that hone did was any contaminants that was on the surface. Just like using it on brake rotors

    this was just to polish the surface for the clutch and PP. It wasn't chattering before so no need to cut into the rotor. You can also use the same tool on rotors. Gives it a nice clean surface.
