I never saw any evidence that it was on a dyno. They were just going off the statement from TTE that their turbos should be good for 950hp on pump gas. But that APR tuned RS7 was hitting impressive numbers so it would be interesting to see a comparison on the turbos and what else was done to the RS6 (cooling, etc.).

The Russian rs7 is severely modified. There is no way an rs7 with bigger turbo and only a tune pushes 1000hp. You need lots of fuel for that to happen.

Otherwise it's a ticking time bomb...

All it says is that Stertman installed their stage 3 kit with TTE9XX turbos. I don't know what the supporting mods were, but I'm sure Stertman did not cut corners. They have an Audi S2 shop car that runs 9's in the 1/4.

No supporting mod details here either, but I'm sure if someone with a native tongue called they could get more details.

+1- we are almost doing a double up on the power - which seems crazy with a tune and bigger turbos. I think upgraded cooling, fuel pump, injectors, manifold (probably) would be needed. 0n a similar note but unrelated- the Bloodhound SSC is utilizing a Cosworth F1 Engine just to pump fuel into the jet engine.

APR said in the total race thread that they provided fueling upgrades. I'm sure these big builds are also utilizing custom cooling setups similar to what is offered by AMS...

We have a couple custom projects going on around the world for a few high end clients including this RS7 with a dual set of large Borg Warner EFR turbos built by Total Race in Russia. Hybrid turbos were nice and make good power, but too small for this client's ultimate power goals. All in all it's making just shy of 1000 AWHP on a dyno dynamics (Supposedly a heart breaker dyno over there too) with the stock blocks and stock transmission. That makes the gains on our Stage 1 software not looks so scary after all! We've provided some fueling components, but the car remains direct injection only.
