We did some testing on the Neuspeed Power Module and we were pleasantly surprised with the results. It's a really good bang for the buck modification.

Note: All runs performed on a dynojet awd dyno, 92 octane with a cold air intake, Correction factor set to SAE

Stock Dyno Run W/ Cold air intake:
Max Power @ the wheels: 243.06
Max Torque @ the wheels: 251.79

Power Module Run W/Cold Air Intake:
    Power Module Runs:
Max Power @ the wheels: 280.10
Max Torque @ the wheels: 289.89

More Info here: Neuspeed Power Module 64.10.15

    Where the sidewalk ends...

Results... great gains for the price of the unit.

    - Can the dyno graph from each run be posted for curve comparison? ... overlay would look good.
    - Are there plans to test with 100oct and compare the gains further?

We could grab the graphs and post. They will be onsite soon. Just literally had our video guy finish putting it up and wanted to share

We didn't run 100 octane as in all honesty most owners will never run 100 octane in their car. But we will def be back and get some runs. Just want to get a few more parts on the car. As we have exhaust coming on the car so we will probably do a handful more for a true "street" bolt on car and than maybe for the hell of it throw in some 100 octane and see what it can do

Prototype that is not on the market.

Most intakes will produce similar gains though.

Any chance there will be support for 2.0 tfsi engines in B8/B8.5 a4/a5/q5? Great to see a piggyback solution with impressive gains.

Nice to see some more testing on this module.

What was the 0-60 before Power Module? Track times in the future?

Do you have a VBOX test, P3 is ok but not as accurate :)

Stock s3 has been tested at around 5.0

Why is the p3 not accurate? Its just going off the wheel speed sensor which once in motion triggers the timer and when hits 60mph stops.

So does that mean if the tire size changes, the 0 to 60 will still be accurate? I guess my question is, if you run tires that are shorter than stock, it will show faster 0 to 60 times, and if you run taller tire, it will show slower 0 to 60 times? Since the stock 18" tires on the S3 is 25" tall, and the stock 19" tires are 25.4" tall, the 18s will read faster 0 to 60 times than the 19s, correct? so how accurate is the P3 if it doesn't actually measure true speed through distance covered?

Correct if you were running larger than stock tires that could be altered. We had the stock wheels/tires on the car. If we were running 19-20" than would be a different story.

Still have winter weather here (hopefully gone now) so we will be putting summer setup on. Still undecided if we want 19's or keep 18's. Might just go lightweight 18x8's with some spacers to poke out a little.

Didn't say it wasn't accurate, just not AS accurate :)

I asked if there is a stock time with the P3 so you can do a direct comparison before and after. Stock S3 has been tested 4.5 to 5 seconds, what matters is the before and after difference when conducting these tests. Too much variability if you go off of others times :)

Seems like it looses a lot of power compared to stock tune at the end of the RPM range is this usual?

Which dyno run you looking at? The S3 or the GTI graph? You will have a little drop off at high end RPM which you also see on stock runs

    I have a few questions.

    1. Does this piggyback system offer any other features? My buddy drives a 135i with a piggyback that allows him to change "tunes" on the fly while driving, using pre-existing controls on the vehicle.

    2. Does this module 'need' any supporting modifcations, or are there only 'recommendations?'

    3. I couldn't think of a third question. So, how does everyone like theirs so far?

    1. You can not change it on the fly. You need to run 100 octane for 7psi anyway so you would need to adjust fuel prior. Its a toggle switch on the back of the module.

    2. No supporting mods needed. Only note is 7psi requires 100 octane'

    3. Love it on our S3

^We did not log AFR. This car is daily driven with no issues. Just did the 1500 mile trip to SOWO in the S3 with the module on as well.

I just installed my power module this morning. It was easier for me to go from the top. Anyone thinking about getting this or have it I have a suggestion. The boost sensor may be difficult but if you practice removing the coolant sensor right there on the side you feel how simple it is and less pressure the better. Gentle removal makes it easy. The harder you try the less you'll make it come off. Transforms the car as they state, awesome performance. I did enjoy and spent more time making the wires unseen and stealth. That was the most fun. Modded, I can't praise you enough, you save us money, you fulfill our ungency by what seems overnite shipping, your just fantastic!

I've had this for a month ish. Def love the mod with my intake. My downpipe should arrive this week so I will further describe my feelings. That being said. I went and pumped 100 octane and 3 days later threw a CEL. It was p2270 (oxygen sensor) Car was running lean. I had bars of gas left and filled the rest with 93. Put the neuspeed back on the 93 setting and went and got the code cleared. That was just this morning so well see if it comes back up. I plan to drive it easy the first couple days to clear out the rest of the 100.

Beyond that I love this as much as the rest of you!

What are your thoughts and reviews on driving it with 7PSI switch on? any dyne results or 0-60 times? Does daily driving still feel great just more power as you were saying before?

Do not have dyno numbers but with the extra 2psi it is more powerful. Just not going to be something you use everyday. Only done really at the track
