As the second owner of my car, it came with the APR RSC and has been a headache since day one. Center resonator had leaks. Multiple mysterious rattles and hanger issues. Yesterday my mechanic told me the drivers side baffle in the muffler sounds loose.

I will be going with a Borla next summer. Or wait to see what FI puts out.

There are many loyal APR fans on these two web sites. I was not pleased with the way APR handled my ECU tune and so stated the same. It appears my concerns were justified.

wow, i dont browse other forums too often. I am shocked at the info presented on the exhausts... there really is no two ways about it. I dont have much respect for a company practicing business in such a manner. Even though i have an APR tune, it was because of the reviews and information provided. Had i known of all this other stuff going on, i def would just steer clear. I feel things are just getting worse and worse with these guys.

I will say that APR's test pipe file on race gas is batshit crazy! Just got the car back yesterday and the fact that I was able to break traction at all 4 wheels last night makes me want to ignore all this drama. If they don't release an impressive DSG tune (before the warm weather comes back) I WILL be switching to GIAC or REVO.

Aside from the stock TCU software not keeping up as well as it should with the power of stg 2. I agree, their tune feels solid. I won't jump ship unless their DSG software is an epic fail (fingers crossed that it isn't). Its just a shame to think I represent a company that pulls this kind of shit with their customers.

I'm still not sure why APR has not made an official statement explaining what happened to the company, details on patent issues with their products and what their future plans are.

They don't have to do this, but a reputable company would.

We, the consumers, made APR what they are now.

^ I'm rather active on the corvette forum and the mod's over there close down threads all the time to protect a vendor. They pay to be on the forums and generally seem to have the mod's in their pocket because of it. Hopefully that isn't the case here on AZ. If you are bored and want to read about one of the biggest cluster F's I've seen about a forum vendor, search "pfadt" over on corvette forum. That shit was a disaster

It would be interesting to see cut outs of other companies exhaust to see what's really going on behind the curtain. If they don't have anything to hide, and have been truthful, I bet they would pick up a ton of business.

I have an APR Full exhaust on my B5 S4.. My car was also built at APR but by a previous owner. So don't call me a family. The exhaust is super high quality stainless. But is not the rsc

Sean replies there, where funny enough he states the front box on the Golf R pictured above does not use, RSC, then when confronted about why it says so on the advertising, starts to say "RSC is the name of the whole system" and backpedals.

Everything minus the tune from their 2.7 Stage 3 was OEM parts

I certainly wouldn't call them hacks. Maybe overpriced, but I always felt with their turbo upgrade kits and software that you're getting a very high quality product.

Their exhausts (in recent light) and Carbonio intakes are the two exceptions IMO.

Pretty disappointing to see this. With everything we've seen over the last couple months, I really wish I would have gone giac for my stg 2 tune. Hard to support a company like this.

I might give them the benefit of the doubt if they outsourced this fabrication and the supplier was where things went wrong. I see that all of the time in other industries. I skimmed some of the links so I don't know if that was covered. I was at a private BBQ and tour of the facilities earlier this year and I don't recall seeing any areas fabricating exhausts in Alabama. You would think that they would respond on how this happened and how they will both make things right for customers that were impacted and how future systems will be right.
