B8 to b8.5 conversion

had bought a b8 tdi se executive 2009 back last year in November, had a good deal on it before people start saying why didn't I just get a b8.5 if that's the look I wanted.
anyway Jan I done the back end conversion to LED lighting FL and since then have been collecting all the bits I needed for the front end.
I have installed everything except a new central electrics module, need some help with this.

my coding was 690050b10034a70100010000000005f5f001d0208040001410 00000
now on that thread tells me to do some changing
Module [09-Cent. Elect.]
Byte 0: Change to 26 (for xenon lights)
Byte 2: Change to 10 (enable LED DRLs)
Byte 14: Change to 1D (bi-xenon highbeams)
Byte 15: Change to 0D (bi-xenon highbeams)
now every time I insert(longer coding helper does not give me the option for bi xenon) the code says out of range error 31, now could be that my 8k0907063K module might not be compatible, people said I can use code 23 instead of 26 and this has worked and main lights work with no flickering but has no high beams but ten I have not installed wires yet anyways. have had other problems but I have got most of the lighting working,
switch position:-
0= DRLs on
auto = in the day the drls work when it gets dark main beam turns on but drls turn off
sidelights = drl work as side lights with back light on as well
main beams = main headlight on without sidelights working
error message I got is about high beams not working (via faults on vcds) how ever on the dash when I start the car up screen tells me drl/side light bulb is out for both right and left. now I have tried the headlights in a factory sline b8 and same problem so im guessing its down to coding.
now on the b8 the parts numbers are listed as 8k0907063K (D,N,P etc) but on ebay I have seen double letters on the ends, what are the difference ? was thinking of going for a 8k0907063DC
sorry if im going on abit oh the cable im using is a kufatec b8 as they have nothing listed for the b8.5 what I would like is the dash errors gone and sidelights and main lights on when head lights turned on main and auto positions on the switch

Thank you, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and wasn't no where near as expensive as a lot of people said it would be. Lol the wheels, I love the concave look and they grow on you a few people said the same thing then they have said afterwards they growing on them, 9j o. The front and 10 on the back in 20z come out ok

The back end cost me £700 that's parts and paint
Front end unmm at a guess I ain't say down and worked it out cost me about £2000 was under that just rounded it up and done all the work myself so no labour but in fairness my mates garage got me parts trade price from tps and the bits I could get used I got from ebay

Wheels are wheelmania savoy front 9j with 245/30/20 and back are 10j with 265/35/20 (originally where 245/30/20 but we're too stretched for my liking) but will be changing them to 255/30/20 tomorrow as they rub now lol. They came off a mates merc so offsets a little wrong they stick out too much

A question I have askd myself often is if my 2009 Avant were to suffer front end collision damage would I take the opportunity to do a B8.5 facelift or just repair as is. I do love the original look with xenon headlights and LED DRL but since we don't get the B8.5 Avant here it would be really cool to be one of maybe two B8.5 look Avants in the US. I have seen one here on AZ.

sorry been busy with work didn't notice you had written on here only when you emailed I am check

from memory what i changed was
bonnet - plastic lugs too as they raise and lower the bonnet I have these now didn't have them in the pictures
both wings
front bumper
fogs and grills
front grill
headlights complete
Kufatec cable (adaptors for wiring)
wing supports on front
under trays
might be a few other small bits

Hey, nice job! Can you tell me what is involved in the back end boot lid and lights. Do they just bolt on or is there more to it. I would like to do my bootlid to 8.5 with the LED taillights upgrade. I have a '08 3.0tdi quattro. Cheers

You should do a detailed list and step by step of the "How To" for this conversion!

Because Im pretty sure that a lot of people here in this forum would love to do this mod, but since there is not a full procedure of this conversion make us hesitate about going for it.

I already started buying some parts, but still im on the dark regarding the little pieces needed for this, for example the plastic lugs you mentioned for the bonnet; that kind of stuff we need to know about.

I have done the same upgrade on my Allroad (B8 to B8.5) and it looks awesome but I haven't connected the FL xenon yet... can you help me with the coding? Should it be the same as B8 retrofit?
