I'm selling a virgin B6 A4 cluster, if anyone wants to do this mod, and not have any downtime with their current A4 (not having to remove the cluster in your car immediately).

Sorry for the necro bump but, how do I determine if a color cluster is from a 2002? Also, for the guys that are virginizing these and adapting them yourselves, does the speed read correctly? Since regular A4s only go as fast as 160mph and not 170.

I've been informed that there's no longer an issue putting a B6 S4 cluster in an '02, so no need to worry. There's also no issue with the speedometer, and plenty of A4's can break 160mph ;-)

It doesn't matter if it's an 02 or 05 any color screen should work I have a 2005 S4 cluster on mines right now. The speed is off about 5 mph which is standard for any Audi cluster to begin with even your stock one. At higher speeds it's about 7mph off around 90 or so.
