I have been piecing together the parts need to replace my tail light to the new face lift style. After sourcing the taillights on ebay and making the harnesses. I was ready to install the tail lights. I come to find out that the passenger tail light had a bad LED on the parking light, needless to say I was pissed. I figured I would take this as an opportunity to attempt to fix the bad LED on the taillight and swap out the turn signal LED's to the ROW spec yellow LED's.

Note: The turn signal appear red in the pictures, but in person the yellow does shine through the red lens.

I made the harnesses using OEM housings and making my own cable assemblies using OE connectors.

I carefully removed the red lens by prying at one edge of the housing and slowly working my way around the entire enclosure. Once the lens is off you need to remove the screws holding the reflector in place. There are a few tabs holding the reflector assembly in place before you can get access to the LED board.

The LED's were replaced with OSRAM Power TOPLED's. 24 are required per side.
