Safest Way To Permanently keep A4 off of the ground?

So I'm going to need to permanently jack/raise my 99 A4 parts car within the next few days...And I was wondering what would be the safest way to lift the car around 2 1/2 feet off the ground in all four corners so I can safely crawl under it and remove parts when I need to. The car will have no wheels on it so I am unable to use some ramps. I have 4 jack stands but they are two different sets and they are not the safest jack stands. I think I have some landscaping cinder blocks (like these, http://www.lowes.com/images/LCI/Plan..._interlock.jpg) ...And I also have a random pile of some wood. I know these are not safe at all. Where exactly is the best spot to place the jack stands etc on all four corners so I won't have to move them at all to remove any part of the car. I know I should be using jack stands but if I rest the car on those cinder blocks for when I'm not under it..and then when I go under it throw the jack stands under the car in the proper places and also put a hydraulic floor lift under the car do you think I'll be safe (also along with resting on the cinder blocks)?

The Link below should help. Please make sure the car is on a level surface. I'd hate for this post to be your last.

Trust me, I don't want it to be either... Which is why I'm asking the more experienced people who've done it before how to do it safely. I'll read the thread you linked.

    Edit*
So I read the thread, and those are good spots to place jack stands...But I just don't feel 100% safe with just jack stands. I'd also like to place stacked cinder blocks in all four corners (WITH jack stands also). Does anyone have a good area to place these?
