So I'm going to need to permanently jack/raise my 99 A4 parts car within the next few days...And I was wondering what would be the safest way to lift the car around 2 1/2 feet off the ground in all four corners so I can safely crawl under it and remove parts when I need to. The car will have no wheels on it so I am unable to use some ramps. I have 4 jack stands but they are two different sets and they are not the safest jack stands. I think I have some landscaping cinder blocks (like these, http://www.lowes.com/images/LCI/Plan..._interlock.jpg) ...And I also have a random pile of some wood. I know these are not safe at all. Where exactly is the best spot to place the jack stands etc on all four corners so I won't have to move them at all to remove any part of the car. I know I should be using jack stands but if I rest the car on those cinder blocks for when I'm not under it..and then when I go under it throw the jack stands under the car in the proper places and also put a hydraulic floor lift under the car do you think I'll be safe (also along with resting on the cinder blocks)?
