I was able to find a used camera and module of eBay for $200 shipped off an s5.
I sourced the wiring harness from Kafatec. http://www.kufatec.com/index.php?mai...t8a9g68a7ckg92
All the information I found online said that the car needed to have rear parking sensors for the rear camera to function.
To my suprise after installing it and coding the car, the camera works perfectly!
Took me a total of 4 hours to do this Mod since it was the first time taking apart the interior.
Brain part number i used: 8T0 907 441, Camera part: 5N0 827 566 C
Bran bracket Part:8K0907392A, N01508210(nut), N0901486 (bolt), N90168604(clip)
Camera, Brain and wiring harness:

Installing OEM rear camera in the trunk. you have to remove the plate and plate holder to get the camera in. The hardest part about the trunk is putting the safetly latch cable back onto the cover.
I used DavidB8's writeup on taking the trunk lid apart: http://www.audienthusiasts.com/Proje...yTriangle.html

wiring it up, running the wires is fairly simple, all the wires are exposed and you just zip tie them to the existing harness going back into the trunk.

wiring the power to the fuse box, It pretty neat how the fuse holders come apart and you just plug in the pin from the harness. Only issue i had was where the factory backup fuse goes (E #6) there was no power on the opposite leg so i added another power tap. The additional wire tap i used(000 979 023E).
DavidB8's writeup on how to remove the fuse panel and insert the wires: http://www.audienthusiasts.com/Proje...ssoryPlug.html

The CAN bus wires and video wires you have to run up to the front of the car. There is a High and Low CAN wire that you wire into the CAN bus plug in the right side fuse panel.
There are only the 2 wires you need to run to the front of the car along the right door sill, the CAN and the MMI video signal. You need to remove the MMI unit from the center of the dash, so you need 2 radio removal tools.
I used DavidB8's guide to remove the glovebox http://audienthusiasts.com/Project_GBCooler.html

Look it works! Finally have a backup camera in this car. The lines move when the wheel turns also.

The only coding I did was :
Address 19, you select in the install list, the rear backup camera. (its a checklist with vagcom, no bit setting)
Address 5F, byte 07-bit 1, to turn the camera function on in the MMI.
The backup camera module was left at the s5 settings, i couldnt decifer out the instructions from kafatec, so i left it, i believe it is Address 6C coding 1001008.
