Question OZ Racing wheel - circa 1999 - threaded valve....

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have an old set of OZ Racing wheels that finally need new valve due to small leak.
The 'experts' at the local tire shop claim they have never seen such a valve in their 20+ years in the biz.
They called around to all the parts suppliers in the area, but the parts suppliers just show up w/ off-the-shelf bolt-on style valves.
These wheels have threaded valve opening so require a valve that directly screws into the wheel.
Any help here is much appreciated.
OZ says, 'sorry, wheel is discontinued'.

will add pix when i can.

    thanks

We don't have a direct replacement for that. If you can post pictures of the wheel and any part numbers off the back we can take an educated guess...

Since i did not receive any suggestions, I went ahead and used a standard off-the-shelf 1/8 NPT tank valve.
    Works fine, no leaks.
